Come here all the time. The staff are amazing!! One of 2 places in Ithaca that still serves Starbucks coffee. They are definitely more than a book store.

I spoke with Bernard on the phone and he helped me secure the middle book in a series for my brother's Christmas present. Success after trying six different bookstores!

Always pleasant. Kind staff and good selection. I support independent bookstore, but would also like to keep B&N afloat!

Im addicted to this place... I need to stop buying so many books! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to relax and shop for books. Some books can be pricey but there are many on sale.

I just love going into this place and it never gets old. I usually don't have a shopping list but just like to browse. I love to look at the books but I have a hard time figuring out what to get. The prices are pretty decent but not usually as good as online. I will certainly be back regardless of which store I may be near.

This place is so great I wish there were more brick and morter stores like it. The only complaint is price matching. The book we wanted was $7 cheaper on Amazon and the associate said that they only price match from their own website. We would have liked to have the book now but the price difference is big nowadays.

I saw an article in the paper saying that James Daunt, the CEO, was bringing back a focus on books to Barnes and Noble. Word of this change seems not to have reached Ithaca. Since I last visited two years ago, there is more space given over to the cafe and a huge section of toys and games. The selection of books seemed rather mediocre to me.

Their religious section was very small. But they did have the children's Bible I was looking for.
