Came home to visits parents and came by for a day pass. Thank you Golds for the pass and even more so amazing class by Quan! Loved the energy from the other ladies in the class. Will come again!

Have fun continuously getting charged for memberships months even years after you signed the cancellation papers. Haven’t been to the gym in years, just got another charge today. Still never refunded me back my full amount from the previous year. Had to have this conversation with them 4 times and still nothing.

Gym has great equipment and everything you need for a workout on any muscle you are trying to hit. The problem here is mostly the crowd. Expect to workout with some ex cons and rude people that hold hostility. There are also two staff members that I have personally seen argue with members and leave weights around. I guess when you’re “Mr center stage” or you train groups of women taking up four pieces of equipment at once you are exempt.

Most of the cardio equipment is broken. TVs don’t work. Weight area is old. But they still charge top top dollar. I lasted a year. Avoid.

I signed up to golds gym because of the size of the gym. I am extremely disappointed with the staff at this gym. I show up to cancel my membership in November at 6 pm one day and the employee at the front told me I need to come in between 7am- noon to cancel. Extremely weird rule. I call and explain to someone a week later that I work those hours and can’t come in to cancel. They tell me they’ll speak to the manager and cancel. Never gets cancelled. I get charged in december again and finally go in to cancel in January, the guy tells me the manager isn’t here and to come back. I call the next day and the employee was extremely rude so I asked for his name and he gave me a fake name and hung up. I come in the next day and speak to John the manager, he tells me he’s going to handle it and he will speak to his boss, he writes down my name and number and email and 2 weeks go by and NOTHING. I go in today and his boss has no idea what I’m talking about, not to mention … John is acting clueless, going through his notes like “hmm got nothing” like absolutely unbelievable. John should definitely work on his manager skills.

The front desk staff are not helpful, they made a mistake on my payment and when I brought it up, they ignored and said you don’t understand!! After I brought my bank statement and other senior staff checked, they realized they charged me extra!! I don’t care about financial part, mistakes happen but they are very unprofessional and discourteous.

I have been a member for over 5 yrs and it's not what it used to be.50% of the lockers don't workPlace is dirty, rust on a lot of machines, machines are constantly out of service, they added great new machines however the place is too crowded, machines are too close to each other barely any room to move around. Wish they would keep up with it.

Left NY in 2018 came back end of 2022 the place looks the same you'd think that they add new machines or update the look if you like broken or old equipment this the place for you. Might return later if they update the gym

Decided to change gyms and heard horror stories about the billing here, luckily avoided any problems in that area but the reason I changed gyms was because this place was always dirty, and machines/ equipment were always broken and never addressed. Constantly watching people blow past the scanner early in the morning also got on my nerves as well. People sneak into this gym and don't respect the equipment, and the staff apparently also doesn't care or has no facilities for upkeep/ repair. I remember often seeing roaches running around in the floorboards of the sauna in the men's locker room, and the steam room used to be a disgusting place as well. Always smelled of dirt and body odor so one would imagine it was not cleaned often either. Overall I would avoid this place in its current state. It used to be great but has since fallen

2 Major Problems Here. 1 - Accessibility. I’ve spoken to someone twice about it now and have been ignored both times. The platform on the first floor with the machines on it has no ramp or railing, making it very difficult, if not impossible, for people with disabilities to use those machine. 2 - Pool Area. There are not enough non-slip mats in the pool area. Very dangerous. Also, the pool hours are terrible. I wish they opened it at 3:00 or earlier.I normally don’t leave bad reviews but all of these issues have been address directly and ignored which is why I came here.
