I was a week out from college drop-off when I heard the noise. Inccesant ticking coming from the engine. (Exhaust Manifold??). My local repair shop said they could do the work, a day later my local shop said they couldn't, they do not have the experience in the space given the big engine in the Jeep. They referred me to another shop, 2 more days later they stated they couldn't do it... Their expert hadnt shown up for 2 days...
I was given Alex's number (Split Second) from a family member. Was told they do everything!!!! I called explained the issue and he said "Sure we've done that!". Thinking my family member contacted him, before i called, I stated I needed to know if the car was good for the long drive to college. He said he will take a look. If he thinks it's what it is, could be done by days end! No guarantee (Luckily, I had ordered the part from the original shop)
Not only did he treat me like family, he explained to me the issue, why it happened and what caused it. Also letting me know of an additional issue. (Which he fixed) I called my cousin to thank him for the referral and calling ahead of time. My cousin stated he did not call him yet... and hadnt known my car was at his shop, let alone repaired!!!
So Alex treated me as any other customer walking through the door, and I felt like he was treating me like he was servicing a family member or ViP
I have a new service station for my cars!!!
Id highly recommend them.

I took my car to this shop to change my clutch, a 2000 Nissan Fromtier, they charged me $1500 when they called me that it was ready, I went to pick it up and they delivered it to me with the muffler broken and I went back to have it repaired and on the way home I lost my money. brakes and I come back again and they repair it again and the guy tells me that it's $160 that I have to pay more and if not he wouldn't give me my car! They are expensive thieves, they don't speak things clearly from the beginning, they are more interested in money than for the customer to leave satisfied. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Think about it before going there. I left them paying almost $1,800 for everything and from there I He wrote on a piece of paper that my car needed many things to fix! I wasted the whole day there and ended up leaving very upset...plus their terrible attitude when talking!

Terrible experience, my car enters for one thing and leaves with two more after having delivered it, dishonest responses and misplaced charges!
I definitely wouldn't go back! A despotic guy, look how he talks to a client who had already paid him and also gave him his car badly about other things! I wouldn't even leave one star! And apart from what the workshop itself answers me, my position is the same! We work hard to earn money, but not in a low way!
To make matters worse, they themselves respond to the complaints with answers that only favor them, yet for me it is no longer a good place, apart from being expensive, dishonest and with a bad attitude!

Explain to me how i get my brakes completely replaced brand new,
Then two months later send my son to get the car inspected and they tell him the breaks are old and need replacement and scam 200bucks out of him?

Rude and dishonest..I would literally push my car past this place rather than have them touch my vehicle again. If you are looking for a honest mechanic keep looking because you won't find it here. F-

A week ago I was in Split Second and I left there very happy! I've been going to this place for 18 years and I've never had a problem! On the contrary, he always finds the problem with efficiency and professionalism, seriousness and a lot of respect. His prices are very reasonable and are within the normal standards of these times.!!! They always serve me with kindness and always give me options to replace the spare parts that are needed! Before I paid a lot of money to repair my car at another shop close to this one, and it never looked good and I had to go back and pay again, until I found Alex and from then on I never had any problems again! The jobs always turn out very well and without problems to this day..!! It's really worth going here! He is very reliable and very professional..!!! I recommend it 100%
