* Original. March 2022My 1st day - Just an evaluation for me so far but in depth and I felt GOOD - I did get to meet my horse and groom / brush it. Next time I'll ride. This place seems highly professional. Riders from under2 years old to 90. Emotional therapy to physical and occupational and of courseRiding. I'm excited* 4 months in. ( July 5th 2022)It's been great. Ive got 30 minute riding sessions but there are many other levels of therapeutic services. Not everyone rides. Some just get a lot from being near a horse. My riding so far has been a painfully cautiously slow progression. I still need plenty of help getting on and getting off, but they are there for me. They started me out being led by my therapist and two other aides. Then I rode and controlled the horse but still with a tether. Finally I'm riding without anyone holding a tether to the horse. I'm doing obstacle courses and my therapist is watching and verifying my balance, and my control. I'm still at a walk, no trotting , cantering etc, but we are making progress. Yes its frustratingly slow but I recognize and respect their concern for safety.I'll still recommend Pal-O-Mine to anyone. Feel free to ask for my name as a referral if you call them and I'll share more.

This was one of the best experiences I had. I went there for a leadership course and I gained a great deal of insights into myself and my team. I can't say enough about the good work they do for the community.

Carol always takes the time to send me updates and photos of Gigi , a Halflinger pony I donated to Pal O Mine a long long time ago.The dedication to these animals and the people who benefit from the relationships with them is unwavering and timeless.

I cannot say enough good things about this organization - the staff- the volunteers- and of course the horses (and donkeys- sheep- chickens)We came to find this facility through another local organization who recommended the use of equine therapy the help my son - he is autistic amongst other global delays - from the minute you arrive at the facility the feeling of calm falls over you- my son has thrived - seeing the look of achievement on his face as he’s riding in the arena - the love in his eyes when he looks at his horse - priceless! Also the confidence he has developed - and they encourage him to be independent- he Has learned so many skills in the work study program- from weeding - perelli - mucking the stalls and basically learning how to do numerous things around the farm to give back.I highly recommend this facility to everyone-They are even offering sessions for frontline workers and first responders on the frontlines of the covid pandemic..I think everyone should hug a horse - I can tell you from experience that you never know what a horse can do for you!For us it saved my family ❤️
