Steven was extremely easy to work with. He was compassionate, kind, patient and understanding through a very difficult time. He not only took the time to explain everything to me in detail, but he was available 24/7 for anything that I needed or had questions on. And they were plenty of those. He graciously gave me his personal cell phone to reach out in case I had any questions. He could not have made this process any easier from the beginning to the end and I highly recommend him for his services. Additionally, his pricing was excellent and very fair and was much less than many of his competitors.

I had two parents that were not doing well and passed away 11 days apart. Prior to each one passing I went on the website and I put all the information in so it will be ready for Steve. From the moment that my mom passed away, Steve answered the phone immediately had my mom picked up fairly quickly, and he was on top of everything. He took care of the transferring of the body, cremation, death certificates and everything else. He was a huge asset. Then 11 days later, my dad passed away and his situation was a little different because he was buried. But once again Steve took care of everything and I didn’t have to do a thing and he is very professional, and I highly recommend him, especially if you never had to bury a family member. It took so much stress off me being that I was the only sibling and I had to take care of everything.

We have worked with Kleinberg several times in the past few years, as our relatives are all aging. Though no one likes to plan a funeral, we know that working with Kleinberg will always be a seamless and worry-free process. Steve is a phone call away, and treated our family with so much sensitivity and respect. He was able to advise us every step of the way, and we are appreciative of his expertise.

Losing a loved one is life's hardest time to go through. Steve Kleinberg alleviated so much of the end process for my family and me. He was not only professional, but I always felt as if he were a friend who truly cared about what I was going through. He took care of every detail, big or small, so I was able to spend the last two months of my brother's life with him.

As anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one, there are very difficult times. We all process death differently and in our case it has taken up to this time to begin to thank those who were involved, in particular, our Funeral Director, Steve Klienburg.
After placing our mom in hospice, we knew we could be just days away from her passing. We did have the opportunity to meet with 3 different Funeral Directors and Steve, without a doubt, Steve was the best choice for us. From the moment we met him at his establishment, Steve felt as if he was one of our family. His kind, compassionate, and understanding of our needs was incredible. One of his first comments to us was an offering of condolences, followed with words that indicated, “How can I help?”
Steve provided us guidance and options as to the steps and questions that would come before us as we prepared for the eventual series of events that follow when making such final preparations for loved ones. He outlined the kinds of decisions we would need to make and he offered his guidance at every turn. As I said earlier, he felt like an old family friend.
Without a doubt, we would recommend Steve Kleinberg as the most caring and competent funeral director we have met. We were fortunate to have had Steve handle the final arrangements of our mother.

Kleinberg Funeral Services was such a perfect choice for me and my family when my mother passed. We had a jewish graveside funeral and Steve Kleinberg handled the whole funeral for me. He personally picked up my mother from her Nursing Home and prepared her for burial. He handled all of the paperwork and got me a wonderful reformed Rabbi for the service (Rabbi Jenn Weinstein). He also offered a choice of other Rabbi's. The funeral was seamless, comforting and I felt at peace knowing Steve handled everything with the cemetery and paperwork that was needed. His prices were so much more reasonable than every other funeral service I spoke with and he took the time to listen to a much bereaved mourner, me. I would definitely recommend Kleinberg Funeral Services to any one requiring a Funeral Service. Thank you Steve for giving me piece of mind at a very trying time.

It took me months to write this review, however here goes: I lived in a different state from my father. So when he passed and we decided to cremate and host a virtual memorial service, I thought it would have been impossible. My aunt located Steve through a bit of research and it was a Godsend. Steve was readily available, stayed in touch, provided guidance and advice I didn't even know I needed. He did everything from removing the body from the rehab, arranging cremation, having the cremains mailed to me in Arizona, and offering a few options for urns (I still haven't purchased an urn but I'm sure I'll get to it). He met us where we (my half-siblings) were literally and emotionally as we all lived in three continents and had varying complicated relationships with him. All the paperwork was completed through emails. All that to say that the services he delivered were topnotch and provided a smooth process which families NEED during times of mourning.Keep up the excellent work, Steve!Latoya

Your kindness, patience and ability to listen made our broken hearts a little easier to bear. We were worried about heat at the graveside service but Kleinberg had everything we needed and set it up in no time. The 10x10 awning and comfy stadium seating accommodated 30 of us, better than we hoped and highly recommend.

I used Kleinberg's transport and cremation services after my mother passed away last year and then for my father (who is a WWII vet) as well when he suddenly passed away a few months later. Both my parents chose to die at home on hospice so I was on my own and uninformed as to how to handle all the logistics. I would have been totally lost without Steven's assistance. Steven and his staff were compassionate, kind, and professional from start to finish. Steven handled everything with the sensitivity and ease needed in the difficult area of death. I never felt rushed, prodded, or like it was business as usual. All the logistical items were clear, and he took the time to explain everything in detail. He took care of all of the documentation as well. Kleinberg Funeral Services showed great respect and care throughout and Steven was very responsive to calls and emails. My parents passed away in NYC and they were able to provide immediate responsive service at a late hour for each of my parents. I highly recommend them.

We were referred to Steve of Kleinberg funeral services and from the very first conversation to the last one that we had all of his interactions were filled with empathy and compassion. He took care of the entire arrangements needed in order to ensure that my mom had the send off she deserve. We’re Hindu so there were rights and rituals that we needed to make sure were done properly. Steve was very accommodating and made sure everything was conveyed to us. He kept us informed of the entire process and was so careful in the preparations. My moms wishes was to do everything as quickly as possible and Steve made it all happen! My family and I are so pleased with the services and the accommodations made by Steve and Kleinberg Funeral Services! I would certainly recommend them!
