Great house, great tour, & great guides. Definitely add this unique home to your Hudson Valley itinerary.
We’ve been visiting historic homes allow the Hudson from hours North of Albany, down to Brooklyn. Somehow, we missed this home.
We enjoyed an interesting tour and its touch of spookiness added for the season.
Definitely worth a stop if you are visiting the area or add it to your to-do list if you are a historical house hunter as we are!

I attended the Lady In White immersive tour October 18, 2024, and I had so much fun. The Octagon house is stunning inside and out. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. Once you step inside the house, it is like stepping back in time. The interior design is amazing. The history of the house, and the immersive story had me enthralled. Kathleen Files-Dibiase and Jane Murdoch were fantastic in their roles. Our tour guide, Mia Michelson-Bartlett was a wealth of information, and effortlessly weaved the story along with interesting facts pertaining to that time period. The Lombardi family should be commended for allowing his house to be explored. I whole-heartedly recommend this tour to everyone!

Love the Armour-Stiner Octagon House - it's such a treasure, and a real gift that they open the house up to the public for tours. After driving past it a few times, we googled it to learn more and were thrilled to find the opportunity to see the home up-close through a tour. Visiting during Halloween or Christmas seasons makes the experience even more special. Don't miss your chance to check out this incredible landmark. It's sure to capture your imagination.

It's a lovely place with a beautiful garden that I really enjoyed. The guide was excellent. However, I feel that the ticket prices are quite high, almost on par with the Vatican Museums or the Uffizi Gallery.

This place is unique and a gem. We did it on a day trip out of NY (with a car, but there are train stops nearby) and found it unforgettable.
