Heading down to wine country, I didn't think about needing wine for the first night we were there. Sunny's to the rescue! It's a mix of several different things. They have a few gas pumps, a small grocery mart, and just recently they added a liquor store in the adjacent building. It was 7pm on a Friday night, and I was expecting to get owned in high prices, because they were the only liquor store for miles. Holy cow, their selection is pretty solid for being basically in the middle of no where. Liquor, wine, and a whole wall of local wines! The best part about it was the prices were just what I would pay back in Rochester. They were right in line. I bought a bottle of Anthony Road Red and a bottle of Heron Hill Eclipse red. A quick conversation with the store owner, Sunny, and learned he is constantly trying new wines weekly to see if he wants to carry them. Impressive for such a small operation Don't be mislead, the building looks a little dodgy, but the treasure is inside!
