shelves are bare at my local store after driving a half hour to get here. prices are insane. staff doesn't seem to know what's going on and the staff in the deli and in the meat and seafood departments were all not wearing masks or any type of face coverings and there was even one girl in the deli chewing gum and I had to ask her to not do my order because she was spitting all over it while she was cutting it

What is wrong with the S&S in Hyde Park? Today, 8/27, was the worst this site has been this summer! Empty shelves, people complaining, no department managers checking this situation! No sale items available. WHY? I live in the village so the location is perfect for me, however, I get my meds at the S&S on Burnet Blvd. so I see what a well run store looks like. There are never any empty shelves. Sale items are available. There is no reason that the Hyde Park S&S cannot be in the same shape as other Stop & Shops unless it is going to close. Make the announcement so we do not waste time going there and not being able to find what we go there to buy!

I have to say I come shopping to the store 2 to 3 times a week and I'm always searching for top-quality produce which they never have today they had turnips they could use for a science project and on St. Patrick's Day you would look for corn beef and they're out of it whoever is buying their produce whoever is buying their protein needs to rethink their inventories it's because they're always out of stuff or they have too much or something that's turning rotten Also there's managers always standing around while there's only one counter open and they sit there and watch you just a terrible store

I bought organic kale for that night's dinner salad. Two of the three people ate the kale. We both got food poisoning within a hour of eating. Vomiting throughout the night. I returned to the store the next day to inform the manager and advised him to pull the kale. His response was it was two days past my purchase and too late to deal with it. This situation has to do with food handling. It could be at the store level, during transit or prior to that. It needed to be addressed and the manager was dismissive. I live a mile from the store. I rarely shop there as I believe it is poorly managed. Patrica

Truly appreciate ALL the folks at both your Massapequa and Farmingdale location. Shout out to the staff at the self check out, All so patient, helpful, courteous, kind, and professional. Also to the maintenance folks and the most helpful gentleman that stocks the yogurt at massapequa and the young gentleman that works the courtesy counter..HELPFUL GROUP OF FOLKS. Farmingdale location also, great group of folks, especially Mary, Alex and all the courtesy counter folks as well as the cashiers. So pleasant. Your staff at both locations are most appreciated while dealing with us Folk. Gratefull

Highly disappointed with the produce lately. I am diabetic so i shop the produce section at least 2-3 times a week. I dont wanna hear anything about a pandemic excuse anymore seeing as life in NY is virtually back to normal. This locally grown produce is horrible! I purchased black hass avocados 3 for $5 all of which are BLACK inside ! A bag of red peppers that i havent even had for two days now is full of fungus black mold on the sides of the peppers that was not visible the

Went to stop n shop 7/29 2020 to return bottles because the bottle room was closed for quite a long time went in to redeem my slips stood at courtesy counter for 7minutes whips Roseann pretended I wasn’t there I was informed by her that Nys law only allows 12 a day I said your bottle room has been closed when she snapped telling me closing the bottle room was a state law too that is not true so she finally put my money on the counter and walked away if this is the face of stop n shop I want no part of your store she acted like the money was coming out here pocket and belittled me
