Avoid this place at all costs if you value a good, or really any, internet connection. Their wifi is slow and after being connected to it for a night they banned my device. Online meetings? Forget about it, you'll be lucky to even connect to the internet here.

Room was a little cramped in comparison to other hotels in the same price range. Breakfast was ok but not noteworthy. Staff was friendly and attentive but I found it a little rude calling my room to make sure I got out by 11:00. Won't be staying here again.

The room we were in could have used a little freshening up. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the location was spot on. It was less than 1/2 mile from our event. There is a lot to see and do in the Hyde Park area. We would not hesitate to stay at the Quality Inn Hyde Park on our next visit to the area.

We reserved a double bed and I called in ahead of time to get first floor room since there is no elevator. I also requested a room away from lobby and doors. We were worried after reading reviews online BUT we had a very good experience. The hotel is maintained from the outside. Check in was quick and easy. The lobby and our room were clean and modern. The carpet in the hallway did have stains. There was a luggage cart to get bags to the room. The room carpet, beds, chair, bathroom was clean and fresh smelling. Bed and pillows were fine. Hotel was quiet at night. AC and heat worked fine. Shower was hot and good pressure. Plenty of soft towels, different sizes. Breakfast was as advertised and good - waffles, eggs, yogurt, coffee and milk. There was toast, cereals, apples, oatmeal. The breakfast area was small but people were coming and going quickly so not waiting. The breakfast area was kept clean and organized. I did not like the juice from the dispenser machine, avoid. Check out was easy.

Caution! Stay at your own risk. Very strange people hanging out in the lobby and wandering aimlessly. Did not feel safe in the hotel that evening. Very poor maintenance of the hotel. My room was minimally serviced. Trash next to and on furniture. Hair in the bed sheets. Room had smell of vomit that someone tried to cover with some fragrance spray.

The room was clean, fairly basic. The room fridge didn't work great and the freezer was cool, at best. The shower head had a pink mold issue. I thought it was fairly pricey, at $245 for 2 double beds,

Whatever you do.. do not stay here. Our room flooded from toilet water due to a plumbing issue, but the manager blamed it on us (even though we never used the toilet). It wasn’t until 6am the next morning when we woke up and notice that our entire room was flooded and our belongings were soaked. The manager Sam Patel has done nothing to compensate us of this terrible time. They literally offered us a new room when we woke up at 6AM and at that point, we were packing to get out of there. Sam claims that this is enough since somehow this is our fault. Please, do not stay here. If anything goes wrong, Sam Patel will blame this issue on you.

Rooms are dirty definitely nothing special and very overpriced. My room is above the lobby doors so I get to hear them slam shut every ten minutes throughout the night. No ice machine either apparently it’s broken. Definitely not worth the money at

I stayed at this hotel for about 6 nights in July when I visited a friend who lived in Poughkeepsie. This hotel is tucked away in the heart of Hyde Park. It is a very quaint and quiet hotel and the neighborhood is quiet. The staff were professional and friendly. There was free continental breakfast with juice and all-day coffee was provided. The hotel has free parking at the front and the back. My room was nice, clean and comfortable but I thought the dresser and the desk were too big for the room so the space in between was narrow. I love the blackout curtains.I would recommend/suggest that the shrub that is in front of the sign be trimmed as persons have been noted to drive pass the first entrance not realizing that they have reached their destination. (Please see photo of sign)I would stay at Quality Inn again.Rooms: My room had a nice bathroom, as well as free WiFi, premium cable TV and a coffeemaker. My room had a minifridge and microwave. It also had a swivel chair and desk where I was able to use my laptop. It also had a comfortable chair to relax in while watching cable TV.Nearby activities: It's nearby the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum where you can go on an historic sight seeing. It is also close to small shopping mall with a supermarket "Stop and Shop" It is also close to the Vanderbilt Mansion, the Culinary Institute of America and the Marist College.Safety: I felt safe and comfortable in my roomWalkability: An 11-minute walk from the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum (across the road) it is also near to the Roosevelt Cinema and you can go watch a movie if you are a movie lover/goer

We normally stay at this hotel when visiting the local college. Was surprised this time the condition of the breakfast food that was served. Normally wouldn't be overly critical, but feel it is worth mentioning that we could tell the food had been frozen - no surprise there, but they could have thawed it out before putting it out on the breakfast buffet. The pastries were still partially frozen, the sausage, which was on the hot plate were still chilled cold in the centers. Eggs were room temp. this was after 8:30am, well beyond the start time, which is at least 7am, perhaps sooner. Just think that a little more care / time could be taken to prevent this sort of thing, which in my opinion, is not a lot to expect.

I stayed here for the location. Hyde Park is beautiful. Room was smaller than expected. Bathroom was sticky. Looks like something was just sprayed on the toilet and bathtub to clean. Lights not bright in the room. Some outlets required me to fiddle with the plug to get power. Refrigerator door didn’t shut without messing with it. No elevator for those that might need one. Passed on breakfast as it didn’t look appetizing. Parking lot was not lit up in the back. I’ll pick another hotel when I return next.Food & drinks: Everready diner is done the road from the hotel. Amazing food and fun atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back to try something else!

Very nice and quiet room. The bed was super comfortable. It was enjoyable to be able to open the window to get the fresh air.The service was good, nice welcoming people ar the front desk. The breakfast could be improved with some healthier choices like fruits and some vegetarian alternatives for example. All in all this was a very pleasant experience!

My husband and I have stayed at the Quality Inn Hyde Park every time we went to visit our Daughter. Our experiences and our stays we're always pleasurable. The hotel rooms were always clean and the staff at the hotel were always friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect for us.
