Extremely kind and welcoming people here at the journey Inn. I booked a weekend getaway with my fiancée for her birthday on the weekend. We had a relaxing and comfortable two night stay with breakfasts that were just delicious. Very close to the cute town of rhinebeck. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Journey Inn and can’t say enough good things about it. The room was cozy and clean, breakfasts were excellent and tasty, and the location was ideal and near all attractions. Valerie and Eric were the nicest people and made you feel at home. We just completed two nights at Journey Inn B&B, taking in the sights in and around Hyde Park. This was definitely one of the best bed and breakfast places we have ever stayed in. The house is beautiful and the hosts were very accommodating. We recommend it most highly!

If I could give Valerie and Eric 10 stars, I would. They definitely deserve it and all of our thanks. They went above and beyond in service to us when we stayed with them for 4 nights at the end of August. The Inn is very comfortable, the location excellent and the breakfasts we ate were incredible! Every morning we had something different and always so delicious. Hyde Park and the surrounding area in the Hudson River Valley are well worth visiting and the best place to stay is the Journey Inn. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this establishment. Oh and a special shout out for Buddy! The cutest and most well behaved dog I have encountered in a very long time. Journey Inn will always be a memorable place for us. Thank you Valerie and Eric.

Valerie and Eric are wonderful hosts. We stayed 3 nights. Breakfasts were superior to 99% of the inns we have ever stayed at. Location is right across the street from Vanderbilt Mansion. Many great restaurants in the area. Very quiet inn. We had a huge suite. Thx for your hospitality!

We stayed here for just 1 night while travelling around Canada and USA. Valerie and Eric were great hosts and gave us a tour or the inn when we arrived. My daughter made great friends with their pup, Buddy, and loved playing with him! The rooms were very nice and beautifully decorated, and the beds were comfortable. Our room was called English country suite and that perfectly matched the theme of the room. We chatted to some of the other guests at breakfast, which was delicious. Overall, it was cosy and welcoming, and I definitely recommend staying if you are visiting the historical sites around Hyde Park. ?

Adorable bed and breakfast that my wife and I stayed at for four nights. The hosts, Valerie and Eric, were very nice and gave some great recommendations of what to see and where to eat in the area. The breakfasts were home made and very good. The room was comfortable and we had no issues with temperature control. Great value for the price.

Valerie and Eric have built something very special with the Journey Inn. Their hospitality is beyond compare, greeting you (with the help of the adorable pup Buddy) when you arrive, and setting you up with everything you need for a comfortable and fun-filled stay in Hyde Park. They are experts at recommendations, and gave us tips for a lovely night in Rhinebeck, including delicious food and cocktails. Valerie & Kim provide phenomenal breakfasts each morning (the tomato-basil quiche, apricot & plum crisp on yogurt, and honey cornbread muffin are just a few examples of the melt-in-your-mouth dishes). And Valerie's coffee is brewed to perfection to set you on the right foot for a day of hiking, museums and historic sites.Thank you so much for making our stay in Hyde Park so wonderful! We hope we'll have the opportunity to visit again soon.

The charm of a lovely B&B, for me, outshines getting a code to enter an Air B&B anytime!! We loved our room! And the entire house was decorated beautifully. Our host and hostess were amazing and gave us insight into making sure we saw the Franklin D. Roosevelt house. The food was fantastic, and our empty plates can attest to that. The location was another bonus. The Journey B&B was across from the Vanderbilt Mansion. The hostess said it was the best view of the Potomac...and it was! It was close to everything we wanted to see.

I absolutely loved this place. The home was so warm and comforting. It was my first time in NY and Valerie- the owner, made my stay memorable. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, I loved the fruit bowls. The room was cozy and vintage. I would recommend this place to anyone. Especially if you’re visiting Culinary Institute. Val left quite the impression on my stay and a happy memory.

The Journey Inn is simply perfect. This is our second visit and definitely not our last. Val and Eric (and their entire staff) are outstanding hosts. They are warm and personable and are at the ready to offer suggestions for dining and excusuions during your stay. The rooms are charming and well appointed. Thoughtful touches abound —including two beautiful living rooms with hot and cold beverages. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious!

The location is perfect, the B&B amazing. Valerie, Eric and Buddy were the perfect hosts. Valerie's breakfast is unique and inventive, very very tasty. We had a lovely time, during our much needed brake. I could not have found a more amazing place than this. Very clean, very pretty, and cozy. We will definitely visit again.
