Terrible company. Access to your unit is only available during office hours unless they have you credit card on file.I informed them I was moving out at the end of the month and they put a lock onmy unit which was already paid up for 2 more weeks.Got them to remove their lock and was told I needed to let them know when I was done. NOPE.Far cheaper units available locally with 24 hour access, no credit card required.

Horrible Customer service, unable to get contact info for distract manager was unable to access my own unit and was told it was bc of the time but it was 830 at night so that made no sense at all call center reps were nasty and had no idea what they were talking about

They don't Pay there contractors.. We did snow removal for them and they never paid two month of bills durning the main part of last snow season. Beware of doing business with this company.

All of the negative reviews are all true AND MORE! We had our RV stored at this place back in 2021 for a couple of months and the customer service is TERRIBLE, their phone calls don’t work and we had an issue with them overcharging us for services and they STILL HAVEN'T RESPONDED TO US SINCE THEN!!!! Do NOT recommend and if I could give 0 stars, I would. We regret coming here and we will never do any type of business with these people AGAIN! They still owe us money for charging us a month we wasn’t even there. Why have no returned our money!!!!

They do not give a refund and their operating system is messy. Apparently, they have a policy for non-refund. But they took almost three or two weeks to review my case and kept giving me wrong information. Never have business with those guys. They will rip you off.

This place is an absolute dump. This is coming from a man who was a manager there and literally had every unit sold at this location for almost 2 months straight.. Which is absolutely unheard of for this location. I tried everything in my power to work with Angela and Christina to get the automated gate fixed to secure everyone’s belongings.. Yet they seemed to believe it was my job to call around local “Gate repair companies “ to fix the gate.. Mind you, there is but one company in the area that could do such work.. The company’s price was too high for them so they pretty much folded on the idea of fixing the gate to secure and protect the customer’s belongings. They don’t care one bit, yet continuously raise the cost of rent for their units to make up for their terrible business routine where they have “small businesses “ fix their damaged property then FORGET to pay them. I have every Tom, Jim, and Harry look at that gate to fix it… Maybe people I knew personally too from Hyde Park and Poughkeepsie. These people are a piece of work. Most of the cameras don’t work and the “climate control” is a joke, they don’t even pay for fuel anymore to support the “climate control”They forgot to pay the electric bill to this location and I as the “manager “ had to call for them to get an extension. They are clowns and this place is a joke.Respectfully.With love and care,Lucan Stickle

Poor service I had a unit only used it 3 days and requested a refund. They denied my refund because I left the lock on the unit passed the 7th of the month, even though I wasn't useing it, it is there policy for customers to do so. I would have even settled for a partial refund for the few days of use.

Great Value Storage is a terribly run company with money hungry vultures who are trash humans in charge. I was an employee and manager for two years, I went 6 months with no heat in the office building. Payments for utilities were never paid on time, the gate to the property was broken when I left in March of 2021 and as I write this review it still is broken. You can drive up and to the property whenever you wish! Also 75% of the cameras don’t work on the property. They care about no employees or the customer. They have no value and are far from great.

The facility itself is ok but there is zero security except for some cameras. The place has no gate and the door to the climate controlled section has no lock. It just doesn't feel secure. The office closes at 6pm and I was told that the owner watches the cameras/
