Well. It's absolutely pouring rain today and it appears I have a nail in my tire. My husband is working but he told me to go and get it removed and that it shouldn't be more than $15. I paid $15 in Commack last year and $15 on Jamaica Ave over the summer so that's what I was expecting. I'm on Jericho turnpike between Woodbury and Huntington station and I see the BP. The man was so apologetic that his mechanic stepped out and told me to come back. I'm pressed for time so I went to the one a few feet away. There are several mechanics there and I figured this was a better bet. They were friendly enough and fast and efficient. Now it's time to pay and it's $35. Pretty shocking that it's $20 more than what I paid only a few months ago in Commack and on Jamaica Ave so I questioned the price. I was completely mansplained by the boss about why he charges what he charges, spoken to as if I was a child. He then has the audacity to make a comment as follows: "it looks like you can afford it!" I let him absolutely have it. Please go to the BP right next door and completely bypass this place. Rude and unprofessional and a misogynist.

drove in on a whim that they might be able to do a quick state inspection (during a week when everyone told me they were either totally booked up or I had to leave my car for hours) and to my surprise they said yes and I only had to wait maybe 5 minutes and I then I was on my way.

The rudest people you can deal with. I used to fuel my car here all the time and something just told me to stop going especially with the high prices they charge compared to other stations nearby. I had an inspection done about a week ago but lost the receipt. I called to request their inception station facility number that's posted on the side of the building and was given the run around and hung up on when I tried to describe why I needed it to register the car. I with all the facilities on Jericho Tpke, go somewhere else if you're looking for service with the high prices you're paying.

I needed a simple carco inspection.He was completely rude as soon as I walked in for no reason. I still gave a tip because I was raised with manners.I will never use this place again for gas or for any type of service.

Definitely could have been treated better. I needed a photo inspection on my car and my insurance company gave me a list of places to go. Your Family Auto Center was the first one. The only nice thing was that they were able to take me right away. I called another garage and they had a week wait. I pulled up to the garage and asked what I need to do for a photo inspection and they gave me papers and said to find a parking spot and fill out the papers. I was trying to fill it out as best as I could but I didn't know a lot of the information. Then I realize on the side of the paper it said for the inspector to fill out. So basically they were just being lazy and wanted me to do their job even though I could have been filling it out completely wrong. So I go to the office and said "I read that you are supposed to fill this out and I also have questions". I was told rudely to sit outside and finish filling out the paper. When they called me up for my turn I handed them the papers that I said I have questions on. The worker comes back outside and said "Are you a student or something do you know how to sign your name". However, I purposely didn't sign it because I had questions which I mentioned and I also wanted to make sure the job was done before I sign anything. The funny thing is the worker belittled me but the one part he filled out was the date and he didn't even put the right day. Even though I'm a young girl I'm not going to let someone talk to me like the way he did and I explain why I didn't sign. Luckily, I was with a young man that also stuck up for me. Once the worker realized he can't treat us like crap he started acting nicer.

Not so "friendly". Asked a question on about procedure to get a used car inspected and basically told me hours of operation and hung up without any other explanation. Good bye to Your Family Auto Center..There are other auto mechanics out there that are probably just as good who want my business.

They should change the name to Rude Auto or Filthy Auto. The owner tall guy is a cursing machine. Definitely the type to bully you around to those that don't know much about automobiles. Judging by his lack of character, seems like by these reviews I'm not the only one who feels this way. Stay far away, you have been warned.
The only reason it even got 2 stars is one who pumps the gas/works the cash register (short guy) is honest and professional
