Just walked out of value drugs on main- one of my items rang up as the wrong price- the cashier (front register with purple/pink hair) said she couldn’t leave the register and asked me to take a pic. I walked back, took the picture, and went back to the register to pay for my item. She ignored me for a few minutes, I opened up my phone with the pic and held it up near the register to remind her of the order we were in the middle of. She continued to ignore me and talk with a colleague. So rude, I walked out.

To the Value Drugs worker who was rude to me and my friends today, get a hobby and a job that pays more than minimum wage you old frail cunt. Me and my friends went out to breakfast in town today, and afterwards we decided to go to Value Drugs to go and get a graduation present for our friend who's party we are going to tonight. After making out purchase, our parents said that they were coming to get us. Since they would be there in 10 minutes, we decided to just wait in Value Drugs for them. We knew that we couldn't sit on the cushioned chairs in the front of the store, but since there was no sign on the patio table chairs and the store was mainly empty, we thought it was ok. There was another worker around when we had sat down, and they said nothing about how we weren't allowed to sit there. All of the sudden, we hear someone say "What do you think you're doing?" in an EXTREMELY rude manner. I assumed it was someone we knew, and looked up smiling. When i saw a women wearing an earpiece, i realized that we didn't know her. We told her that we were just waiting for our parents to come and get us. She said, "Not in here you're not.", and kicked us out of the store. I understand how old people may have negative views on teenagers, but we weren't being loud and disruptive, and there were only 2 other people in the store. As people who frequently go to this Value Drugs, we are extremely disappointed in their lack of respect for paying customers, and just blatant rudeness.

Staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful, especially in the vitamin and supplement aisle, which is extensive. Store also carries a range of items - teas, toys, gadgets, for example.

I cannot say enough good things about the pharmacy department. The two pharmacists, Tom and Allison are two of the kindest and most caring pharmacists you will ever meet. They genuinely care about each and every customer and their medical needs. Thank you both for being so wonderful!

It's all fun and games until you try to return something and they actually have to possibly part with any money. The owner Pete was ALWAYS so nice to me before the most horrific attempted return experience of my lifetime. No refund after an accusatory exchange stating my returns exceeded my purchases and he would have to look at my entire account. Never heard from him regarding that btw and that was 6 months ago! ummmm yeah whatever dude! Now I see he is a MISERABLE person as are pretty much everyone who works there on some level (don't even get me started on the nasty manager Sammy) or working in this hateful environment takes them there. Management (apart from one manager named Ron who was an absolute sweetheart, hopefully he got the h*ll out of there) trickles down as they say. It's a shame that this is so convenient because I will absolutely NEVER shop there again!Good luck Value Drugs, Huntington is a tough town to please and you pretty much SU*K!NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN! E V E R!

I worked here for 3 and a half days before quitting. Terrible management that doesn’t know how to lead and will just bark orders at you. Garbage pay for the workload they give you dragging you in all different directions. I regret and not leaving earlier and wish I never worked here. I’m Happy I left and no longer wasting my time here for $15 an hour.-Aman Singh

My family has been using this place for years, and they've consistently been great. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, especially the pharmacy staff. The store is usually pretty clean, and their prices aren't bad considering you're shopping local. They also have a slighter larger selection of items than you'd normally expect from a drug store. The dual entrances/registers are also convenient.

This was one of the worst experiences of my life working here. There is no room for advancement and you will be looked down on by higher up staff. Plain and simple it is just the most toxic work environment I’ve ever been in. Everyone is fake, not real genuine people, I wish I never worked here.

Terrible attitude at the register - especially on Christmas Eve! How unfortunate for them. I got yelled at for trying to return masks and told (In the most nasty way) that there is no return policy. I asked where can I find that policy stated, but got dismissed. That policy should be clearly stated somewhere on the receipt or in the store. I’m conscious about supporting small local business, but I wouldn’t be humiliated like this anywhere else - so I will try to avoid coming back.

Very disappointed in the price gauging for COVID-19 tests. $150? Other pharmacies have the tests between $40-$50. I am all for making money, but this is not way to do it, possibly compromising people’s health.
