The woman at the passport office provided exceptionally poor customer service. When we arrived for our appointment, she immediately informed us that she didn't have time to assist us, which I understood since we were slightly behind schedule. However, I expressed my desire to proceed with the time remaining. She agreed but then wasted more time giving various excuses as to why she couldn’t fulfill our request.
She claimed that my husband's passport was damaged and that he wouldn't be able to travel with it, despite the fact that he had used the same passport to travel to several countries without any issues. It became clear that she did not want to assist us. It's one thing to deny a service, but it's another to fabricate policies and exhibit extremely poor customer service and etiquette.
With her attitude, I no longer trusted her with my family's documents or the processing of our passports. I've noticed several other reviews on Google that highlight a similar woman at this passport office who also delivers poor service, particularly to those with children or from minority backgrounds. This is unacceptable and unprofessional behavior that needs to be addressed.
This is unfortunate because the service I have received from this site has been overall favorable.

Bizarre....last time I held mail, I put down that I would pick it up, but they delivered it. This time I put down for them to deliver it but it looks like I have to pick it up. Just strange.

This is a suggestion for the head of this department, please change the lady who is in the passport area. I had my appointment at 2:30 pm. I arrived at 2:25 pm. I was filling out my new passport form and the lady told me. She said to make another appointment that she wasn't going to attend to because I didn't have the form filled out and she moved on to another one that had already missed her appointment. It's unfair because I stopped going to work to go to this appointment and she comes out and cancels my appointment. I'm super angry. I demand that people like this person be fired, they do not deserve to be in that position.

Large Post Office with a very large parking lot. Roomy and comfortably air conditioned inside. Two tellers on duty, and the line moved quickly. Our teller was polite, knowledgeable, patient and friendly. All free boxes and envelopes were packed in abundant quantities. Post offices boxes available. An efficient location.

Passport section has issues. Went there to renew my sons passport. Lady at passport section took all documents reviewed it all sent it in. She was chatty and said she was filling in for someone but she had been there for 30 years. We thought we were in good hands. Few weeks later a letter comes in from passport agency telling us that application did not show who and what passport agency took our application. It seems like the agent forgot to sign the document or put her name down. Had to get new pictures, new application. Cost be like $60 more and weeks lost. Went somewhere else to redo it. What a waste.

Made an appointment at 2:45 on 4/3/24 and came early. The lady working here denied our application because i “didn’t have a proper photo id” meanwhile on the website it clearly states acceptable photo ids consist of an expired passport book which i had brought with me and she said it wasn’t valid nor was a student id which the website also states is valid as a secondary id. I was told to bring my father along with me and my mom if i wanted to apply or get it notarized. I went to garden city for walk in, they didn’t need my state id, only my expired passport, my birth certificate and my mom’s ID. The lady also told me i needed both parents or a notarization but here i only needed one. I live in Huntington so i had to drive 30m to garden city to get my passport done. If you don’t know how to do passports please read online and figure it out. How can a 16 year old have a state id.

I’ve never met someone so unprofessional as this passport lady. If you come for passport application, forget it… she’ll do anything to turn you down. She was just nasty in front of my 2 kids. Her name Mindy or Melissa and I don’t know how the heck she still have this job. Don’t go there

I had to mail something for college and the recipient says they never got it. Now I'm struggling to get this issue resolved on the college side because USPS lost my mail. It was at this location specifically and I asked the clerk at the desk multiple times to confirm everything and they still lost my mail.Edit: Was not actually lost, was just delivered a week late. Apologies for my previous outburst, but that one week delay still caused me a few problems.

All employees are pathological lies. Sent parcel to Poland with tracking number not expecting. Clerk told that cannot show tracking number. Post Master was hiding. All these employees probably was fired from regular job and get government. Thame on this post office

Avoid this post office location at all costs. They never have more than one person working the counter, causing the line to always be almost an hour long.

This Post Office has an old traditional appearance which fits perfectly in the village. Inside, it seems like a well organize operating Post Office with adequate stations open for service. I am not commonly at this Post Office location, but for my first visit, I was quite satisfied.
