Solow sports is the only place I would take my business on all things tennis related.They are responsive, knowledgeable, and most importantly engaged.Julian recently spent over 30 minutes with me answering every question I had about a particular racquet and pointed me in the right direction about gear for both of my girls, ages 5&6.Will definitely come back again for future purchases.

Poor customer service. Purchased a pair of K-Swiss tennis sneakers one week ago. On first use, the tongue ripped out of one of the sneakers. Returned to store to exchange with the original receipt of purchase and sneakers with clear limited use. Store will not accept the return due to a K-Swiss policy. Respectfully, with K-Swiss policy acknowledged, what small business does not stand behind merchandise it sold within the last week? This business is only interested in a sale. I strongly suggest if you care about the quality of what you are purchasing you go elsewhere where the owner and it's salesmen stand behind their business model instead of making customers ace it alone. UPDATE: After contacting K-Swiss directly (who couldn't have been nicer to deal with) they shared their written policy with us which states: "Any K-Swiss merchandise purchased from an authorized retailer must be returned to the store from which it was originally purchased and is subject to the return policy of the originating retailer." Solow Sports policy is that the merchandise refund for defective products is between the purchaser and the manufacturer. So we're stuck! Tennis players please be aware of this customer backward policy prior to making any purchases.

I traveled from the south shore to check this place out after seeing a few good reviews. My game had taken a hit after some injuries piled up, but Julien gave me a couple suggestions on strings/racket and I feel like I got a little pop back on my serve . Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Terrible experience here last year. I normally don't leavereviews, but this was so bad of an experience that Ihave to let people know. I wanted a specific racquetthat was light for my wife because of her tennis elbow.Instead of letting me borrow a Yonex Ezone 100L, thistall man gave me a lecture about a "step 3" racquet Ishould be using for my wife which was heavier andstiffer from Wilson- completely not ideal for tenniselbow. On top of that, the demo was strung with poly ata high tension. I felt like I was being talked down to theentire time with every question I asked. Never coming here again.

Disappointed. I went this morning and asked the man who was working there for help to find shorts for my husband. He hardly acknowledged me. He kept opening parcels and telling me to go online. He obviously didn’t want to be bothered. What’s the point of going to a store then ? I saw someone had a similar experience. Reviews are generally good, so I guess that in general the staff is helpful but not that person.

i recently moved to manhattan, but i still come back to huntington for my tennis needs. they are so competent at solow sports, i'm amazed every time. and NO ONE strings like they do!!! they are rapid, proper, nice and helpful, and did i say ??COMPETENT?? well, they are, and they are the best. well worth the trip!
