We made a great sofa purchase, along with home accessories, recently at Society of St. Vincent de Paul Long Island's thrift store in Huntington. We fell in love with the sofa's look and comfort -- and the great price. We were so pleased that we've returned again today for an additional sofa purchase. Our sales rep, Michelle, was fantastic.

We have donated furniture here and also bought some items for our home. We’ve had some good luck here and we find the staff to be courteous and helpful. Give it a try!

For many years we have both donated and purchased numerous items. The furniture is always high quality. Many unique and one of a kind items priced very fairly. The people are courteous and very dedicated. And it’s all for a great cause. We cannot recommend it too highly.

I just want to say that you St. Vincent De Paul and special thanks to Cathy for helping me and my family!! This is an amazing non-profit organization and this is all I needed for my son and I. Cathy is very fair, kind, thoughtful/considerate and I thank her so much for sharing your resources with my family. I understand and know that it can be difficult to help everyone but she made a way to help my family and was very empathetic about our hardship. Fixing this relieved me of so much stress and worry. I’ll always remember for her kindness during this holiday season. Once again, thank you and God bless! ❤️

Had a great experience here. The staff was wonderful, furniture all seems to be in great shape. I stumbled upon a serving piece from my Aunt’s vintage china collection and will gift it to her. You never know what you might find!

NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I DONATE TO ST. VINCENT de PAUL.All my life of donating to the needy, I have never in my life seen such an ungrateful establishment. They will not accept donations that have been used. I am sure there are people in need and would be more than happy to accept what I am donating. We were hoping to donate some gently used furniture, the fellows that came would have done all the lifting, but first the inspected furniture quality. They would not accept anything that could have been used for electronics - so no shelf desk because it could hold a computer. No Cabinet that once held a TV. They almost accepted a book case, but saw a few scratches at the very bottom, where normal wear and tear happens foot height, nothing nasty. Bedframes and headboard not accepted unless there was a dresser.NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I DONATE TO ST. VINCENT de PAUL.

Wow! The prices here are much higher than any other thrift store I have ever been to! I am shocked. I would never pay the prices they are asking. Are they serious?

Actually hate this place, worked there once their all haters and look wobbly and awkward. A bunch of losers that think they are somones and has beens who worked at better stores but thought they could do better and woundt up there. Hate the donation receivers. They all suck big time. The store looks awful the merchandise is awful there nothing there no one donates there none even goes there. I stalk nasty drama and bring in riff raff. Hate then their like street people.

Drivers are extremely nice but they will basically go over the furniture with a fine tooth comb so don’t waste your time. I told them on the phone dining room set was from 1965. Would not take because of a couple of stains on chairs. Do they expect new furniture? I posted on the marketplace and others had no problem with it. I will never call them again

Bought a pair of shoes and they were the same price as bought new in the store. They would not lower price. It is a thrift store so u can buy second second hand stuff !!! Used !! Which should be at a discount. Much cheaper to buy furniture on Facebook market place!! Ridiculous prices .Just go to Marshall's and buy new clothing cheaper.
