Got my hair cut here yesterday by Cesare. What an awesome experience. He sat with me, listened to the issues I have with my hair and gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve had in a really long time. The salon is very nice and everyone was very friendly. I have definitely found a new salon!

Astounding service and quality at Salon 44! Everyone is so nice and welcoming from the moment you walk in. I have alopecia and Kaitlyn has cut my human hair wigs for years and always does an amazing job. Sam has done my blowouts for over 5 years and they always come out amazing, I am never disappointed. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Cesare is the best hair stylist! He listens to what you want and gives you a cut far more superior to any one I've ever used. He takes the time to listen and gives you advice on how to style and manage your cut. He is also so friendly and welcoming. When I get my hair cut by him I feel so relaxed as if I'm at a spa. He really knows how to give the best shampoo as well - messages your scalp and takes his time. I always look forward to my visits with Chez and leave feeling beautiful and renewed! He is the BEST!!!

Everyone who wants beautiful color and a cut needs to go to Salon 44 ASAP! All of the entire staff is amazingly talented! I have gone to Roseanne, Alyssa, Kaitlyn, Danielle and Ces. You will not be disappointed! I always get complimented on both my color and cut!

The salon came highly recommended to me by 2 friends. First time to Cesare for a hair cut and it was awesome! He took the time to give me pointers on care and styling. The guy's got great skills. @stylistcesare And everyone was so nice there. They all seemed like family which is nice to be around. Will definitely be going back.

I was dying to get my hair cut - haven't had a good cut since Covid hit. I thought I'd try Salon 44. I have curly hair and not everyone knows how to cut curly hair. But, they told me that they had someone who could depending on my type of curl. I texted them a photo and they said that Frank would definitely be able to cut my hair. Eager to finally get a good cut, I felt willing to spend the extra money for their high priced cut. Well, you don't get what you pay for! If I did, I should have gotten a great cut which I did not. Frank did not spend a few minutes with me in his chair asking me what I wanted. Instead, he rushed me off to have my hair washed. I asked him if he needed to see it dry first just to see what needed to be done. He said he knew what I wanted and that was that. Well, it didn't go like that. The front was way too long in proportion to the back - it didn't have a smooth angle but was more abrupt. I asked Frank to please cut more off the front so that the angle was more gradual. He did. Except now one side was longer than the other - I mean really obviously longer! It was like half an inch longer. Longer story short, he styled my hair terribly and I left unhappy. I didn't want to say it at the salon but I did text the woman at the front desk who had initially had me text my photos of my hair to her, to tell her that I thought my cut was sub par and that I was unhappy and expected a good cut especially for the high price I paid. Just because a salon charges a lot of money, there's no guarantee that you will get a good cut. I felt like I went to the Lemon Tree - very disappointed and now have to wait like a year for this bad cut to grow out.

Whenever I'm back in NY from AZ, I always have Cesare do my hair. He is phenomenal and I always get compliments on my hair. Can't find people this good on the west coast, take advantage and get your hair done here !!!

DO NOT HAVE YOUR HAIR COLORED HERE!!!The color was not what I asked for, and when I went back to have it corrected, it was worse.When I requested a refund they refused.If I stop one person from going to this place, it’s worth it. I never post reviews

I have been going to Salon 44 for 6 years and absolutely love it. Everyone who works here is so friendly and kind and it is always an amazing experience!! I can't imagine getting my hair done anywhere else! :)

Got a call if I could come in 30mins before my schedule appt , I said yes only to then wait 45 mins. I then decided walk out and told them this was bad business and I will never return.
