I would give zero stars if possible. I have used this location for about 20 years and have had my fair share of horrible phlebotomists but this tops the cake. I went in on 6/17/24 as a walk in to see if I could get my lab work done. I noticed several months ago that quest now encourages people to make appointments for blood work. It is almost impossible to get an appt at this location unless you make it several days In advance. I walked in on 6/17 to get my blood drawn, registered on the kiosk and asked the phlebotomist how long it would be if I didn’t have an appt. He told me they don’t do walk ins. As he said that, the phlebotomist in the back room called me in. She was extremely kind and friendly and said they still see walk ins but appointments are strongly encouraged. She looked less than 3 seconds for a vein in my AC and blindly inserted the needle and missed. I told her to check my hand but with a butterfly needle. Before I know it, she went in on the top of my wrist. As she is drawing the blood she says, “I don’t like to used butterfly needles because it’s easier to get stuck with these needles.” As she said that, she engaged the safety shield on the needle while still in my vein. I felt as if the wind was knocked out of me due to the incredible gush of pain she caused me. I felt the tears coming out, so I quickly exited the room but when I got to the exit, I saw my wrist was HUGE! I had a hematoma the size of a clementine on the top of my wrist. I immediately put pressure on it and ran back to the phlebotomist to show her. She just put more paper tape on the bandage and said they aren’t allowed to use pressure bandages. I immediately rushed upstairs to my primary doctor office and the NP saw me and said I was extremely lucky that I was not on blood thinners because I probably would’ve had to go to the hospital. She told me to keep pressure and go home and ice the area immediately. I had to cancel a very important appt because I was in so much pain that I couldn’t even drive. I called the customer service # for quest and made a complaint. I received no call back. I called customer service on Tuesday and was told there was no record of my complaint and they had to take it again. I received a call later in the day but I was at another doctor appt and could not answer. He left a VM and I called the man back 20 min later and left a VM. I have called and left several VMs every day for the last week until I called customer service again on Friday 6/21 to make another complaint. I am still waiting for a call back. My wrist is so incredibly bruised and tender, even a week later. When the bruising first started, you could actually see the fingerprints from her holding my wrist so tightly

I had one of the best experiences at Quest. I forgot the name probably (Nadia) was the best. She was amazingly friendly and very professional. She was able to draw my blood in the first go which is usually hard to find.
Thanks

Best part - Nadia's blood draw was nearly painless. That was the best part. Even with appointment, long wait time before and after, to process insurance. Almost there an hour.

Not for me, but an elderly man in front of me had difficulty operating your sign in kiosk. Maybe someone could be visible to it. There was a tech not 2 feet from it but there was a wall/partition between them.

Horrible experience. Waited over an hour and a half in an empty waiting room with an appointment for simple bloodwork that only took 4 minutes.

Technician was very helpful. Codes were missing on my prescription and he gave me time to get a new prescription from my doctor who was nearby
