Wanted to have my recently purchased diamond appraised by an independent / non-retail gemologist and am so happy I decided to visit David. He was able to slot us in for a same day appraisal and was so friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell he has a ton of experience and truly knows what he is talking about. He was able to answer the onslaught of question my fiancé and I threw at him. I feel much better knowing the appraisal was done only for our benefit and not used as a sales tactic to purchase a stone from him instead of the one I had. I will definitely be bringing him all my future gems and jewelry and may also have him help me with my next purchases. 100% recommend!Thank you David!

Just met David to appraise some jewelry at Northeast Gemological in Huntington and I had to share my positive impression of him. He was recommended by a well respected jeweler in town and works with most of the jewelers on Long Island. As an independent jewelry appraiser who had the world’s best training at the GIA he was personable, empathetic, ethical and accurate. I would highly recommend consulting with David about jewelry that you would like to appraise or sell.
