We are going on our fifth year of having children at KinderCare of Huntington and we couldn’t be happier. Gina and Michelle, as well as all other staff, are wonderful. Thank you for taking such good care of our kids !

Our two girls have been going there for the last 3 to 4 years, so we have seen many changes in teachers and directors.Stacy the current director is truly excellent, she’s well organized, communicative and provides great leadership to staff. She has made a significant difference to this facility!!!Most Day Care facilities have significant turnover in staff, so management and benefits make a difference in retention. The current staff, especially Ms. Leota, are truly committed to teach and caring for the children. Michelle is Assistant Director and has been there for 15+ years and has provided continuity at this Kindercare facility.Hopefully, Corporate Kindercare recognizes and maintains this team of wonderful women. We know from experience that changes in Director and teachers create instability that ultimately affect our children. It is in Corporate’s best interest to support the current team financially and emotionally, a foundation all businesses need to flourish.Over the years, our children have received excellent teaching and care at this facility!!! Their growth over the years has been truly amazing, we see it at home!!!August 26, 2023.

Also to all the parents -- check the OCFS website. KinderCare is under investigation to get their license revoked to operate as a daycare. The violations are obscene.

Love this place, both are kids go here and both enjoy their time there. Very professional and generous staff. I remembered coming back from work in Jersey and hitting getting caught in snowstorm which meant I wouldn't be back in time before they closed, not only did they keep the door open till I got there, but they fed my children and kept them entertained. Can't say enough to be honest...

Our daughter has been a student at KinderCare in Huntington for almost two years. The teachers and staff are absolutely wonderful -- they are infinitely patient and it's clear that they truly cherish the children. As a result, our daughter loves going to "school" each day. In addition to lots of fun and play, each class follows a lesson plan by which the children learn about the world around them and how to interact with it. The administrators are easy to reach and are responsive, and the facility is open for business on all weekdays with the exception of major holidays. In short, we are huge fans of the folks at KinderCare in Huntington!

This place is fantastic and we are so happy with how well our son is progressing and enjoying himself there every day since he joined almost 3 years ago. The staff is truly committed to his well being and advancement, and we love all of the things he learns each week on his curriculum- his speech and other skills are progressing so fast. Even for a cranky toddler he loves going there in the morning and really gets on well with his teachers and other kids. The management is great, friendly and communicative, and the teachers are so caring and compassionate. The Kindercare App lets us get updates and pics throughout the day so we always know what he's up to. If he trips and falls, pushes/ bites another kid, whatever- we always get detailed and documented incident reports and corrective actions written up so we are always informed on everything going on. One time he whacked his big head on the floor and we had to leave work to pick him up, and they kept us updated with pics and phone calls basically every 5 minutes until we could get there so we didn't worry about him. They go out of their way to keep us informed on everything to do with health and safety. They have fun events, show and tell, outdoor activities, arts and crafts and other things each month to keep the kids engaged. You can tell when the kids learn something new or figure out how to use the potty, the teachers are almost as excited as we are and really care for the kids.We have had nothing but positive experiences for 3 years with KinderCare at Huntington and look forward to our second kid starting there later this year :)

We have our 2 year old son enrolled at Kindercare, and he has been there since he was around 1 year old. We had been at another daycare facility previously (from when he was 4 months to one year), and we actually made the switch to Kindercare because we felt he was stagnant at the other daycare, and he was kind of just being babysat all day! We also had to provide our own food at the other location, so that was also a negative! Kindercare provides breakfast and lunch, as well as an afternoon snack. My son has been exposed to many more foods than he would have been if I had to pack his own food each day! They also have an indoor fun room, which not all daycares have, so if its raining or too cold to go outside, they are able to get out of the classroom.Being parents who are teachers ourselves, curriculum is very important to us, and we can say that our son is starting to count, saying ABC's and building a good vocabulary! He loves to read and he is definitely learning. He has good interaction with his peers every day, and this is also very important to us! They also start sitting them on the potty and potty training in the 2's room, so that helps with the potty training transition at home. Our son is happy to go to school each and every day! He is a toddler, so of course he has his moments but he seems to be happy there! He waves hello and goodbye to everyone and we genuinely feel he loves his teachers and friends. Yes, there has been turnover and more kids added to rooms since we started there. Yes sometimes if feels a bit hectic, but when a teacher leaves, we truly feel they try to find a good fit for the next hire and try their best to balance out the rooms. and not just hire someone to "fill a spot". The staff is dedicated and helpful and we know we can go to them if we have questions and concerns. Most importantly, our son seems happy!

My 3 year old son has been attending KC Huntington for about a year now. I transferred him from the KC Manhasset just to be closer to home instead of work (I loved KC Manhasset as well by the way and still keep in touch with many teachers and staff there!) I am very happy with the Huntington location, as well as my son's progress there. When he first started and went into the 2 year old classroom, his teachers were amazing! He learned so much with them and the care his teachers took with him was beautiful to see. As a teacher myself, it made me happy to know my son was excited to go to school everyday and that he was making such awesome progress there. His teachers in the 2s room were a DREAM TEAM and I was thrilled that he spent his days with them. They truly cared about us and wanted him to succeed. He still asks about seeing them everyday at school :)Now that he is almost 3, he was moved up into the 3s classroom, where his learning has skyrocketed. He is learning so much and his teacher is such a wonderful person and teacher! She takes the time every day to let me know how he is doing everyday, as well as posting pictures and info on the app every day so we can see what he is learning. As a parent, this is so rewarding! He is learning so much now, that I feel he is truly ahead of the curve for his age (and I mean this). The structure his teacher provides is also appropriate for the age group and it is nice to see the classroom is not run just like a babysitting den like some other daycares. He is truly learning in a school setting, which is very important at this age. I couldn't be happier with his current teacher and his progress.I do understand some of the reviews that mention being unhappy with staff turnover and such. Yes, there has been a lot of turnover there over the year my son has been enrolled there. Is this ideal of course not. But, that can happen at any time, anywhere and for various reasons. From what I've seen, they have tried their best to hire appropriate staff and not just "fill positions" for the sake of it. Did they go through some tough times this year with management and teachers...certainly yes. Did they have a few changes in management and staff...definitely yes. Did any of this affect my son's learning and happiness there...NOT AT ALL!The front office/management staff has truly taken the time to know me, my husband and my son and pay close attention to things like his food allergies, health issues and chronic asthma. I feel safe and secure having him there and know the management cares about him both as a person and a student. They take the time to talk to me whenever I need it, and as a mom, this means so much!It is hard to be 100% happy with a place 100% of the time, but I would not keep my son there from 645 to 445 every single day if I was not happy with them and if he wasn't happy there. He is extremely verbal and whenever I ask him about school, he always has positive things to say and looks forward to going to school everyday! As a mom and teacher, that's all I can ask for! Come and see for yourself :)

My son started KinderCare when he was 3 months old. He is now 3 years old and still attends KinderCare. The staff are friendly, helpful and truly committed to the care and development of the kids. Our son's speech and motor skills have developed so much while at KinderCare. They do a really great job of incorporating a curriculum so that the kids are always learning while enjoying fun activities.

We moved from the city to Lloyd Harbor to let our son to have a better school environment, we found this school is a best fit for my 4.5 years son. He had really a good time while playing outdoors and enjoyed the indoor playroom too.

Some teachers are great, some are carless untrained and ill equipped to deal with children. High turnover rate. Overall the people who are good won't make up for the chance that your child might be in a classroom with some who is verbally abusive.

Excellent care and a fine educational approach from infancy through to pre k. Caring staff invested in each child’s well being. Both grandchildren have attended. The elder child was well prepared for kindergarten (phonics and site word skills and drills provided) and the younger child (toddler) is presently working on potty training. They even have soccer or cooking (addl electives) once a week. Early opening in the morning and 6:30 pm pick up. So very accommodating for working parents. The meals and snacks are healthy and it’s so sweet to see the children have table manners emphasized. As a grandparent, I couldn’t be happier. It’s a child-centric and safe community for little ones.

When I first registered my child with them it seemed wonderful! Unfortunately it was all smoke and mirrors. The center staff was disorganized and inconsistent. There seemed to be no knowledge of situations that took place in the classroom that made me question the quality of supervision. The management we kind and welcoming but seemed to be diconected with higher managment. The upper management also seemed to have very little knowledge of situations taking place in their center and were willing to tell you anything to keep your business. Keeping the money flow seemed to to the most important thing. They were entirely too expensive especially for what they offer. The center was dirty/unsanitary and was in desperate need of updated materials and toys. With so many other options I would avoid this company all together and always make sure you do your research! There are ways of finding out if daycares are in compliance.
