Admittedly my business with Hendrickson Car Care was completely unexpected, but undoubtedly fantastic. Hendrickson’s was called at random to tow my car after being totaled in a nearby accident. Shaken up, hurt and alone I was met with such kindness and sincerity. The gentleman who retrieved my car spoke with me in a soft and genuine manner, assured me everything would be okay and he was available to me at any time, should I need anything. He saw I couldn’t get my car keys off the keychain because my hands were shaking, and kindly offered to do it for me. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone that day and the next, saved me a tremendous amount of guesswork and trouble; this having been my first time in an accident and totaled car I was completely clueless. Took time out of his day to help steer me in the right direction (bad pun) and made sure I didn’t forget anything. If not for him I would’ve released my car with all my personal belongings in it! To top it off, they helped me remove my plates and wished me well. I regret not asking anyone’s name to offer proper recognition, as my mind was in a million places, but I am extremely thankful and feel lucky to have dealt with them. Should I need any work in the future - hopefully not - this is where I’m going.

Look, its scary bringing your car in for a repair. You dont know what to expect. But with Harry and his polite andexpert crew you are in the best hands around. This is the most honest and fair mechanic I've ever met and wouldn't trust anyone else.

I almost want to write a bad review so less people go here but won't do it. I try to get all my car work done here but they are very busy so I highly recommend calling a head of time to book an appointment. Their services are really good and most importantly they have been extremely honest. There was multiple times I went there thinking it was a major issue or they would upsell me but instead they tell me the honest quick issues. I also recommend getting the tires here if you get oil replacements here since they will typically change your tires every time you visit. Highly recommend this place.

Kevin and Harry are two of the most competent, honest, and hardest workers in the business. I feel so lucky to have them to service my vehicles. They have even often suggested to consider changing a part out when it is significantly worn before it breaks, avoiding leaving me stuck on the side of the road. Of course, they will come and get you. :-)

Honest Mechanics. My car broke down in Huntington and I had it towed here, based on local name recognition, confirmed by the great online reviews. The reviews were correct. These guys are great. I live 60 miles away, assumed it would be an expensive repair for an old car and told them as much. Since I was essentially trapped on Long Island, they had every opportunity to take advantage of the situation. Instead, they informed me it was just a $70 switch. It’s not easy to find honest people like this. Since I have a need to be in the area regularly, I will gladly drive 60 miles for service in the future. Thanks.
