THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. Sometimes when you go to vets you get nervous "how much is this going to cost?" and you get hit with a $500 bill at the end.. and you have to pay it. To be seen is only $80, and they go above and beyond to explain to you the different options regarding pricing for tests/medications and let you decide how much you would like to spend. You can tell this place isn't just about making money, but they genuinely care. Also - my dog is not very friendly with others so they allow me to come in the back door to make sure everyone is safe and happy :) Lastly, when i needed a refill on medication for a UTI they happily prescribed it without needing another visit to be seen. They're amazing.

Been using Fort Hill for many years. Dr Travis and team are excellent. They listen and speak to us as family. They have always taken the best care of our dogs over the years. The only vet we have used.

The female that is wonderful but Hank I don’t know if he’s her father or her husband he is horrible he thinks that because he has cancer he can be mean to everyone. I have multiple sclerosis and cancer he left me out of that place he was so rude I would never take my animal there unless you can make sure the female that is available I will be reporting heading to the Americans with disabilities act. Stay away from this place unless you have nowhere else to go. He wouldn’t help my dog even though they told me to come in at 4:15 PM just to give it a look and I have an 11:15 AM appointment the next day and he wouldn’t let me come in because I was rude to him he doesn’t care about animals and he needs to stop working if his cancer is so bad because I have multiple sclerosis, osteoporosis, cancer and a massive anxiety disorder and I still manage to show up with my dog who he didn’t help then he laughed me out of there when I told him I was going to call the Americans with disabilities act on him. Unless you can guarantee that you’re getting the female vet stay far away from this place. My poor dog he obviously doesn’t even care about animals because he wouldn’t help her

They are so nice, so caring, very knowledgeable, especially Lindsay. She explains everything in understandable terms, they want what’s best for your animal; not what’s best for them!!! Hard to find a good vet especially one as good as Lindsay. I’d absolutely recommend. Been going here for years. They really are such good people, good vets, and incredibly intelligent. She has helped me with multiple dogs, many problems, and always knows what’s best for the animal. I drive from rocky point to come here and it’s well worth the drive. Wouldn’t want anyone else, I’ve tried other places and nobody is as good as this office. Whole staff is super nice, and just overall want what’s best for the dog, they don’t push tests or unnecessary things for your pet. They simply solve the problem, and at a very affordable price as well. Even if they weren’t so affordable I’d still come here bc the empathy, knowledge, and care is unlike any other vet I’ve been to. Thank you fort hill!

I've used this animal hospital for about 9 years. The vets that took care of my dogs were always friendly and knowledgeable. Dr.Alana and Dr.Lyndsey Travis were/are kind and caring. I always trusted their medical advice and felt my dogs were in good hands. NOT TODAY!!! It's the first time that I was seen by Dr. Henry Travis. He was abrupt and lacked empathy. He left me with the responsibility of taking my cat out of the carrier and grab my cat, who was terrified, with a blanket so that he could look at the eye. He went on and on giving me a biology lesson about the eye, and then said it was up to God if the eye would heal. I asked if he could give my cat an antibiotic shot or a pain killer or apply anti-inflammatory drops in the office .His answer to all of these medications was NO, it won't make a difference. He said ultimately it was in God's hands. This Vet should retire asap because he is totally unqualified to continue in this practice. I was charged for an examination where I did all the work. Unbelievable!!!'"

DONT GO IF U CARE ABOUT YOUR PET...CARELESS, NEGLIGENT, INADEQUATE, Terrible lack of care. Did nothing to see/ investigate my dogs symptoms, or what was happening to my dog. She did not become responsive to our letting her know he wasn't doing well that very day. We lost a young precious boy...not knowing what could have been done to ease suffering or treat him. Terrible lack of care and regard.l⁰

I wouldn’t even trust them with a stuffed animal. After paying several hundreds of dollars, they weren’t able to help my cat, provided me with little to no answers, and to top it off when I brought my cat to a qualified vet (per their suggestion, as they were “not equipped” to find the cause of her symptoms) they requested her medical records from Fort Hill (all of 3 pages), which in order to get I had to go pick them up myself and was charged an additional $10. After getting the medical records to the qualified vet we find out that there were some very concerning numbers in her lab results that Fort Hill neglected to mention when they first ran her blood. In my opinion, the use of the words “animal hospital” is wildly inappropriate. They are greedy and it would be incredibly generous to call them a veterinarian, let alone an animal hospital.
