I can’t say enough good things about the Walgreens Pharmacy in Huntington Station! The staff here is wonderful, and the pharmacy techs go above and beyond every time. They are incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely helpful, always making sure I have everything I need and that I understand my prescriptions. Their dedication to customer care really shows, and it makes every visit a positive experience. Thank you to the amazing team at this location!

I've had a pretty good experience after transferring from rite aid. People should understand it's a transition process and give the employees a break. Understandably it's frustrating for customers but it's also overwhleming for the employees and not their fault that they are getting onslaughts of new customers to figure out. It will likely improve with time.

Whoever they have helping answer calls in the pharmacy around 2:00 pm is clueless and needs to be retrained “I don’t know when you can fill your prescription “ is what you will get from them instead of running it through again with my insurance provider. If I didn’t tell her that the other Walgreens’s in deer park told me the 7th she wouldn’t have even tried pure laziness and rudeness with an attitude “ I know she felt dumb when it went through. Don’t wast your time and take that drive to Deer Park , Walgreens they know what they are doing. You want answer they got it.

I am a past Rite Aid patient. I am very sad that Rite Aid closed their locations. All patients were recommended to go to this Walgreens on Rt 110. What a nightmare going to this pharmacy. They do not stock medications taken on patients' records, their auto Refills works half the time, and when you call in rx via, there is no record of the via phone recall. I have experienced patients being turned away due to meds not in stock or not covered. While waiting on line, I saw one woman when hectically stating my child needs this medication or that life is in danger. The pharmacist let her leave empty-handed. I watched my daughter in law insurance being rejected for my grandchildren simple vitamins. I have never heard a pharmacy tech ask if there are any questions for the pharmacist, nor is there a check mark to ask a pharmacist a question on the signature pad. This pharmacy is horrible and is endangering their patients' medication adherence. What a shame. Michele Daniels

OMG Just calling in to the pharmacy will make your day bad. They are the most rude pharmacists ever. Every time when I need to call and talk to the pharmacist is a nightmare. Talking in a polite way will make everyone happier and have a better day, why don’t you just do it. No need to taking everyone down just because you hated your job. I will give native 5 stars if I could! Live is not easy on EVERYONE, we get you are busy and tired but it doesn’t give you the right to assaulting other people with your words and attitude. Chill! Be nice!

I’ve been using this location as my primary pharmacy for about a year since moving to the area. I haven’t had a particularly bad experience, and have found the pharmacists who have helped me very nice and informative. This being said, I think corporate needs to give some help to this location, as the transfer of Rite Aid customers has completely overwhelmed the staff. A 5 minute wait to pick up has turned to 45 spent in line due to an onslaught of upset and confused Rite Aid transfers. I’ve had to call in the past and a maximum of 10 minutes on the phone, now my most recent call had me on hold for almost 2 hours. I understand that the staff can only do so much when all of a sudden they have a line of people out the door and the phone ringing off the hook, but something needs to change. This once very convenient location has turned into a whole song and dance just to pick up a few routine prescriptions each month.

I work in the retail industry and have worked in pharmacies. This is the poorest run Walgreens that I have ever been to. The line for pharmacy is constantly to the middle of the store and then when you get to the front of the line, suddenly your script is not ready every single time. The techs are unfriendly and have no idea what they’re doing. What is the point of a phone system saying your script is ready only to get to the store for it not to be ready. Additionally, if the one female pharmacist, I believe her name is Christine, if she is not there. It is even worse. Where is the store manager? Why is he not back there assisting? Never enough help, always behind - don’t waste your time - go somewhere else!

As a rite aide customer who was forced to switch to Walgreens this process has been terrible. The staff at Walgreens are nasty, condescending and unwilling to help. Rite aide never treated their customers like this. Any issues with prescriptions not merging correctly they expect the customer to fix and handle. They are not willing to call doctors to explain what scripts are wrong, etc. There is no effort from these staff to assist their customers. Mostly all the reviews are like this one. Why is Walgreens Corporate not doing anything about this?

It is entirely clear that the pharmacists at this location do not care about you or want to help you solve your problems. Dismissive and careless. They lost my refills and then told me to deal with it. They gave me an emergency refill for 3 days to help out. The emergency refill was the wrong dose. Find another pharmacy, this one is terrible compared to the Rite Aid it unfortunately swallowed.

I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. It is completely trash. Went to purchase a gift card around the holidays for a relative. The associate at the register informed me that they have been having issues with gift card tampering/fraud. She looked at the gift card I was about to purchase and pointed out it had been sliced open. I went back and took another VISA gift card and made sure it was sealed. I made the purchase and guess what.... a few days later when the gift was opened the recipient told me the number on the activation receipt did not match the number on the card, the gift card also had half of the numbers in the front erased. On top of that, the card had no money on it. Imagine my frustration. I called this location and kept getting transferred to a line that went unanswered so I went to my bank to dispute the charge. After a month my claim was denied. This Walgreens not only took my money, they are selling FAKE gift cards. BEWARE!

I spoke to a woman at the pharmacy and she was very rude and would not apologize for me having to wait for my prescription and instead blamed the computer system who told me the prescription was gonna be ready for a certain time. However the woman told me that they never got the prescription which is still Walgreens fault. I would not have made a review if the customer service wasn’t so bad and the lady wasn’t so rude.

Dealing with Walgreens pharmacy was the worst experience ever with any pharmacy. Pharmacy clerk was nasty, the pharmacist doesn't explain things well, and I left. I'm so much happier now with 110 Pharmacy and Surgical Supply, one block north of Walgreens. They offer a real personal touch, and are quick and efficient, but that's for another review . . .
