No cashiers only 2!! Christmas time snow time is too many people and two cashiers no good!!! There is a cashier that I hate. She is an older lady who has been there for many years. I respect her but her attitude bothers me. She throws things after checking their prices. She never speaks to you. She never does anything. She is very annoying with her attitude and a young girl with long hair who Sometimes she is in customer service who is rude, little patience and bad treatment, she never knows anything, she never helps you, she avoids being called and if you do, she comes reluctantly in the morning, never ask her for anything, she tells you that she doesn't know!!! One day I answer him, you don't work here nor do I, that's why I ask you!!!?

Very bad service, I do not recommend it, much less if you do not know how to speak English, I felt as if the cashiers discriminated against me just for not knowing how to speak English and since I did not understand what they were telling me, a man paid me something that I was missing but he did not do it in a good way just like someone who says get out, I don't recommend it, very bad experience

They are selling rotten meat, please be aware and plus when I ask for my money back they just told me to relax threatening me to call the cops cause I had a printed photo of the meat with me.
DO NOT BUY MEAT if you care about your health and the health of yours loved ones.

There was empty easy to get around the head what I want. $1 a pound stem tomatoes $1for mangoes $1 for Avocados.

if you want overpriced, not fresh food, and only 1-2 lanes open then this is your spot!I've lived here for over 20 years and I really dont know how this store got so bad

This store has horrendous customer service I asked for a ladle for the soup and the people in the cold cut section refused to go into the seafood section and get a ladle for me. They wanted me to go halfway across the store to get someone else to help me. It is unbelievable that they couldn't go in and get me a ladle. Also, you would think when the station was set up it would be supplied properly. I guess I'll go to stop and shop.

Fantastic latino supermarket with a wide variety of products and food from many different Hispanic countries that you can't normally find in most supermarkets. The have a great produce section, fish market and buffet. The supermarket is always clean and the staff are friendly. The food plaza has an old fashioned neighborhood market feel and in my opinion a staple in the community.

Their prices are not competitive at all. Although I'm around the corner, I have been there less than three 3x in the past 2 years. I travel to grocery stores like Lidl or ShopRite. Their prices are not even realistic for most items. If they keep it up with the prices, I can see them failing at some point. And it's sad. I remember one worker, specifically, from my childhood. The employeed may want to find steady jobs where people actually shop. Like another person said, there's hardly a line there.

This is the worst store. They have many expired products. I know, people ask why do you shop there. Well it's close by when I need something in a pinch. But takes forever even with a few items because I have to read all the expiration dates and some are missing. Not to mention their prices are ridiculous. They are overcharging for the chicken products. for sure. I could buy the same pack of chicken thighs for less than half at Shop Rite in Plainview. They don't have a big selection of items and never come out with new items. Sometimes they have only one cashier and she is all over the place doing other stuff so you have to just wait until she's done. When you try the self checkout there is usually someone standing there but when you have a problem checking out they always suspiciously looking in the other direction. The funny part is when you go to get breakfast pastries on a weekend morning the pastry case is practically empty. I went close to 10 am and they still didn't have the crousants out. I went back the next day around 9:30 and the crousants looked like they were almost burnt. They most likely reheated them from the day before. I am counting the days until ShopRite opens in the big H Shopping center in Huntington near the Home Depot. Finally a decent alternative.

The choice, price and freshness of produce is outstanding. The fruit and veg selection is unmatched in my opinion.
