Went here 3 weeks ago because I smelled a burning sensation in my car. Any other local mechanic would’ve diagnosed 101 issues with my car, however these guys were very honest and let me know I only ran over a plastic bag and the smell would dissipate. They didn’t even charge me for taking a look at it and let me know of a couple of things to look out for as time goes on (timing belt, etc). Extremely generous and honest people, as you can tell by the other reviews they’ll never steer you in the wrong direction (pun intended). Will definitely be going back here and recommending it to family and friends. If you’re someone who doesn’t have much experience with cars, rest assured that J & T Auto care will take care of you.

I cannot express enough what an incredible auto repair shop this is. Mike is extremely professional, patient, and kind. He takes the time to explain any work that needs to be done and provides me with options, and he always lets me know what is a priority because I have a limited budget. As a female, finding the right mechanic who is honest has been a huge challenge, but I can say with pride that I will be a customer for life! I recommend this shop to anyone who owns a vehicle and is in need of mechanical repairs! I’d give 10 stars if I could!

Mike and Crew are A OkAy in my book. Professional courteous. They are just awesome. Especially that Mike guy, he didn't give me mechanic talk mumbo jumbo, he explained everything in layman's terms. Around Christmas I took my Mother's car to the shop. Shes 84 years old. In saying that, these days shops can take advantage of seniors. I brought the car to the shop to get it checked out. they checked the car throughly and found nothing where as they could have made up something. The people there are so kind and I feel blessed that my mom has a reputable auto shop. I reccomend this shop to every in Huntington, Suffolk and Nassau counties to use this shop.. awesome friendly professional service. I wish I could remember the guys name who was at the shop. I would like to thank him again! I hope he reads this... 10 Stars!
