First time visiting Walt Whitman Shops, and as a longtime loyal customer of Bath & BodyWorks I am really disappointed and taken back by and honestly surprised on how rude the cashier was. I was with my mom, and after paying for my stuff which did not reflect the advertised sale price, I asked her why. She looked so incredibly miserable and annoyed, I dared ask her a simple question. Without even asking she used my available points and continued to act like I was wasting her time...I guess she did not realize that being helpful was part of her job title. My mom followed me in line to pay for her products and was treated with the same.. How sad that people like her ruin such a great business, and make customers turn away.

Store is medium/large-ish store compared to others I’ve seen. Staff was friendly and everything was well organized and clean.

Bath and body works staff have always been kind and friendly especially at this location. However, I came in to make an exchange with a receipt within the return policy and the items were unused. When I got to the counter the cashier Pat already had an attitude and ended up messing up the entire transaction and proceeded to tell me how old the items I was returning were when I just bought them under a month ago. I went to the Plainview location that same day where the cashier was incredibly helpful and kind. The Plainview location was able to properly rectify the issue Pat had created for me. Pat needs an attitude adjustment and some more training at the register it seems like.

I have never had a bad experience at a bath and body works before, but today was the day. The associates near the front were friendly as always and very welcoming. The bad experience started the moment we got to the register. The woman helping us, Liz is her name and I definitely want that to be known because her bad customer service shouldn't reflect the other people she works with that are clearly better at their jobs. Anyways, we go up to pay for our stuff and we asked if we could have two bags because we were paying together, but going separate ways. Right away with an attitude shes like "no" and we asked why and she seems irritated that she's being asked a question. She proceeds to tell us we can't have 2 bags because other people take empty bags and steal from the store, even though we just wanted to separate our stuff in front of her, but whatever. Then as we're trying to grab our stuff and leave after paying, not even 5 seconds later shes like "yea, you're all set" with an attitude when we were already proceeding to leave. I couldnt believe how rude she was being. Even in the middle of our transaction, we were trying to see if we were going to purchase one item or not and she just grabbed it and threw it onto the counter behind her and we had to tell her um hey we're getting that too, we were just looking for the coupon. She must've been in a rush to go even though the store was an hour from closing.

Here is another store that they did away with in the Sunrise Mall. I had to travel to Walt Whitman for the store experience. The staff was plentiful and helpful but when it came to pay, there was no one helping the only cashier and we found ourselves waiting tiredly on a long line holding our goods. Not very happy about that. They need to improve customer care in that respect.
