“I came into the shop with transmission problems and unfortunately the worst case scenario, a total redo of my tranny. Knowing I was from out of state and distraught, he prioritized my truck which told me the owner cared about my well being and truly it just made me feel great that he sympathize with my situation. The owner Robert was there to greet, manage the front end process, keep me informed and at the end to provide me with the green light my truck was good as new. The price was in line with others but the financing options with the warranties along with the amazing customer service, was what it easy for me to say let’s get this fixed. “Went here 3 weeks ago because I smelled a burning sensation in my car. Any other local mechanic would’ve diagnosed 101 issues with my car, however these guys were very honest and let me know I only ran over a plastic bag and the smell would dissipate. They didn’t even charge me for taking a look at it and let me know of a couple of things to look out for as time goes on (timing belt, etc). Extremely generous and honest people, as you can tell by the other reviews they’ll never steer you in the wrong direction (pun intended). Will definitely be going back here and recommending it to family and friends. If you’re someone who doesn’t have much experience with cars, rest assured that J & T Auto care will take care of you.”

“They deserve 6 stars. Gus runs an honest shop with fair pricing. My check engine light went on and my dealer had dollar signs in his eyes. I got a second opinion from Advanced (in literally a minute or 2) and they showed me that I left something loose. Gus refused to take any money from me. When they have done work for me in the past, the work stands and it is at a fair price. Too bad too many places are like my dealer.”

“Finally, a car repair shop that is prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, experienced, and honest! After my car languished for a month at a different location (Jeep service on Park Avenue at Jericho Turnpike) where I was told the cost of the repair would exceed the entire value of the car, I took it to J&S. What a contrast! They quickly diagnosed my car’s problem and quoted a very fair price (a fraction of the price Jeep wanted to charge). J&S completed the repair in 3 days, and I am delighted with their work. They have won a new loyal customer; they will have all my car repair business—and that of my family and friends—from now on.
