The doctor is very knowledge and nice. But I don't like their customer service. They have very bad follow up. They won't call you back with the dog blood result, I have to call couple times and the vet is also busy and finally the front desk called me back and said everything is ok. Also the vet said my dog need to have teeth clearing and told me that they have a new machine coming in and someone will call me when the machine came. But of course they never called me back. Very bad follow up and customer service. I won't bring my dog to go there again.

Great people & Vet. The only thing I did not like was when I wanted to transfer to another vet (because they’re 45 mins away from where I live), my dog had one more vaccine left that he needed & when the dog was taken they tell me they did not have anymore vaccines available they are in “back order”. Why was this not told to me 2 days ago when I called to make sure my appointment was all set for the VACCINE? Making me drive 45 mins just to be sent back home, very inconsiderate & unprofessional.Other than that, they’re a good place to take your animal. I can’t complain about that. They did take care of my dog (except one time they forgot to call me back with lab results for my dog & he had some parasites so they called a week later). But they’re ok.

This place is the only vet that would accept my new rescue pup these days, as other vets had long wait times and/or were not acccepting new patietns. It was not easy to find them, but im glad I did - the building is in a side street off Jericho turnpike and the building is quite simple. No fancy lights, fragarances, or expensive waiting area - they see the pup, treat her and kiss her goodbye.I cannot quite easily explain it with words, but what comes to mind is - simple bliss. The staff is lovely, the vet is funny and straight to the point. there is no fluff to get your money, if you are looking for fluff and shiny websites or pretty buuldings this place is not for you. They love the pet for what the pet is - a living animal who needs care, and I love that.the first visit was the fastes visit to a vet ( or any doctor for tha tmatter) i ever experienced. in and out in under an hour with all vaccinations, exam, nail trimmed and blood drawn.

The doctors are thorough and efficient. They call you back in a timely manner. This is my first dog and first experience with vets and from working in healthcare over 23 years this doctors bedside manner is better than most who treat humans. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for good quality and AFFORDABLE care!!!

Needed a last minute vaccine for my dog in order to board him and they were able to squeeze me right in and take care of it. Doctor was great, I'll definitely be switching over and visiting again.

Went in for my kitten and they checked her out and helped me to instruct me on what to do with her and feed her, really great staff there and I was in and out relatively quick. Overall I would recommend them to anyone with a pet!

This vet gets the job done at the right price. The doctor won’t sit there and play with your pet and tell you how cute they are. If your looking for that kind of service go elsewhere. They are there to help the animals with no frills, no over the top testing. Decent price compared to others in the area. The practice also has other locations.

It's surprising this place has so few reviews. Got our pet neutered here. We had a great experience with the doctor and the staff. Our pet's healed well and our follow up messages were answered the next day.

My experiences with Dr.Selmer have been exceptional. Dr.Selmer was very thorough with testing and gave a detailed and understandable evaluation in order for me to understand. I took Summer, my 7 year old Labrador mix to get checked for back pains. Dr.Selmer quickly got to the root of the problem and made a great difference with his remedies. Now Summer is back on the path to her usual lively self! Summer's coat is shinier than ever, and she can go on walks without any issues. Needless to say, Dr.Selmer is a very caring and hardworking doctor. I recommend him to anyone considering visiting him.

I'm so thankful I made the switch. We have had two wonderful experiences so far and I truly feel my dog is in the best hands with Dr. Selmer's care. He's attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The BEST part is that there is no just charging you for procedures or medicine you don't know about. he walks you through everything and lets you choose. I so appreciate that.

The office was clean and welcoming with plenty of on site parking. When I came in, everyone greeted me with a great attitude. It was lovely to walk into a new place and feel so at home. The doctor and his assistant took care of my cat's wound and helped with amazing follow up care. I don't use a vet often, but when I do, you can be sure it will only be Advanced Animal Care Center.
