2337 NY-9D, Hughsonville“The easiest way to look for this store is Domino’s. The owner is such a great guy. Always goes out of his way to help and find you whatever you are looking for. The store is small but super well stocked. The vegetables are always fresh and I always end up spending more than I had planned. The outdoor is super pretty and you can even sit down on a nice day and have a snack and a drink outside. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for ethnic spices and produce.”
“They have a good selection of fruits and veggies, their fresh breads are good, and they have a nice selection of cheese. Their floral and nursery area is a nice bonus. They don't always have some of the basics needed on a typical grocery trip, but you can find some unusual or higher end items that make it worth a visit here. They also have a good selection of hot prepared foods, a salad bar, and sushi as well as a small place to eat the prepared items.”

“Such a beautiful boutique! The commitment of the owner is evident in the curated products and welcoming environment. Amazing NA offerings as well- and RTD options from the cooler!Definitely worth a visit if you are passing through, wish I could transport it back to my town!”

13 NY-17K, Newburgh“I love the Newburgh Aldi store. The associates always seem happy and they go above and beyond to help me out. The prices and quality are also the best around. I needed lots of groceries today because I’ve been staying inside because of the awfull heat. Today was beautiful so I went to Aldi with my long list. I wound up getting 4 full bags of food and it only cost me $56.60❣️I am more than impressed.”
“Love this place, incredible selection of curated olive oil varietals and aged balsamic vinegar. Really sweet and delicious. I use the white champagne balsamic for salad dressings, and I put a tiny dab of the 25 year balsamic in my sauces to sweeten and add complexity.”
“I love this place. For a small market they have a great selection. They are clean, organized, and have a good selection of everyday essentials as well as specialty items, Their prices are decent, and the staff is very friendly.”

1820 NY-376 #8, Poughkeepsie“As stated earlier you might think the sign to this store leads you to a smoke shop but just look for where the shopping carts are and go in through that door to the immediate right of the smoke shop and you will find a cozy store that looks a little shabby but has some fantastic buys. I happened to be driving through the town and just looked over at the strip mall and saw the big Oriental market sign and absolutely checked it out for nothing but pure curiosity. They have a whole lot of ingredients that you're not going to find at big box stores like h Mart or the supermarket in Middletown. Lots of rice seasonings, pickles and sauces. There are also some fresh ingredients like baby bok choy but the star of the show where the Frozen authentic Chinese soup dumplings and steamed buns. Probably saw my favorites I've ever had even more so than the ones I get at the Korean grocery store. There's an elderly gentleman who helps you out with everything if you have any questions and he's very happy to do so. Looking forward to going back there again.”
“Decent supermarket, clean, not super busy, well staffed. Cashiers are usually friendly but I opt for using self checkout. Sales are okay, the meat sale is good. Has a rewards program where you can earn points towards gas station gift cards.”
“Visited for the first time- wow! Love the concept of reusing containers, going with cleaners that are chemical free, organic products. Bring your own containers ( glass jars work great) and only pay for the product which is clearly labeled by the ounce. This place has everything for detergents to shampoo to cleaners. Nice assortment of organic dry food products too. Compost pails, alternatives to plastic wrap and foil. The owner Jaime was very helpful pointing out different products and various uses. I will be switching out for better products as I finish up.”
“Good quality meat, very fresh and at a good price for the sancochos and broths, also other Dominican things that I have only seen here ?️?the staff is also very nice and attentive, if you can't find something, ask!”

421 Main St, Poughkeepsie“It is one of the few places in Poughkeepsie where you can find West Indian/ethnic food products. I'm not sure about their fish and meat market, but I trust the non-perishables.”
“My favorite sandwich combo is pepperoni, muenster, lettuce, & tomato w/ a little bit of mayo. Also, for much of 2023 & '24 thus far, I've been helping Dimpi's move its old stock of Bud Light bottles & cans. This might be due to a politically motivated "boycott" of Bud products. Apparently, some fragile little men regard other people's gender identity as an affront to their existence. It's one of the latest "moral" panics!”

“I love this store I live right around the corner, so it's convenient to get to and I'm Hispanic so they have everything I need to cook for my family and everything is fresh as well!”

1299 US-9 #102, Wappingers Falls“The gentlemen here were incredibly gracious and helpful to me (asking "where to begin") - I learned a ton about ingredients. I don't even think the guy who walked me through the store even works there! What a wonderful market and warm, welcoming place. And the samosas were solid!! Can't wait to be back.”
“I love the store, it honestly satisfied my sweet tooth. The store’s layout is amazing and beautiful. The variation of many different snacks, sweets, and drinks were lovely.
The employees are so friendly and helpful, they are very welcoming.
I will definitely be coming back.”
“I ordered a sandwich from the beautiful Senorita who cooks, and the gentleman in the store was very nice. Praying for the Muslim community in the time of reverence if Ramadan. May God bless you and do a new thing in the lives of the believer.”

16 Mill St, Newburgh“Geracis haas been around for at least half decade or more. The original owners have not been there for many years. They aged out and retired. Food is still great. I see no difference in the meatballs and sausage. Best in town.My parents went there the better part of their lives. They have both passed on late 90s. So Geracis has been around a long time and the food is still the same. Very Good.”
“I am obsessed with these meals. I have celiacs disease and it has been really hard for me to find food that is good, easy, healthy, sourced with the world in mind and truly delicious. When I found these they were everything I had been looking for and some! If you enjoy authentic, adventurous quinine this is it! I have a few local favorites and this is in the top 3 over even restaurants we have access to in the city. The portion size is really nice. I feel full, indulged but not too full. I love the flavors, packaging just everything about them. I can travel with them easily! Once you try one you won't go back. I have a friend in NYC who found these and eats them every night for dinner now lol.Quick Tip: I made a friend with an older women in her 90's and she always wanted me to bring Indian Food when I came to Vt from Boston. Well I tried on multiple occasions but it was never kept well for the drive... I wish I had found these then!! It would have been a really cool "experience" for someone who can not easily get to adventurous food! Find your grandparents and give it a go!”
“I travel 30 minutes to get here because of the prices, but today I had a great experience. There was a problem with my using different gift cards but the manager, I think her name was Sharon, she smoothed things over and helped us out. Good people work here and that’s probably more important than prices.”
“Great fresh products, AWESOME SWEETS SHOP, and high quality meats and cheeses!I used to think they were too pricey...but now I believe that it's very competitive for the quality! Glad they came down to Southern Dutchess!”

39 N Plank Rd, Newburgh“Great grocery store for all the things you need to prepare and clean up your meals everyday and it is handicapparking and also there are ride on cars to ride while you shop..”
“I've been shopping here for years! I love this cute mom and pop health food store, sad to say there aren't many left but beacon natural market is holding strong! I give the employees a lot of credit for dealing with the new wave of residents that have taken over beacon, some are not pleasant! They have great customer service and always items I need in stock.”
“I love this place the vegetable is very fresh. You can buy fish you can buy make meat. You can buy very cheap peanuts. You can buy sesame chocolate like I’ll be saying like. Candy so delicious and only one thing is no plastic bag. You have to bring them with you or the person from the register gave you box. I’m very recommended this store.”
“The Hughsonville Mart is a small store but they have managed to stock quite a few things in a small space. For example, they sell cold & flu medicine, newspapers, scratch- off tickets, foods, beer, beverages, eggs, milk and more.I have shopped at this mart many times and I will continue to do so because of it's convenient location in Wappingers Falls on Route 9D. Also it actually has a post office within the store. You can buy stamps, take care of other postal related transactions and have a P.O. mailbox there too. It's basically one stop shopping that is quick and simple.”
