Hands down, the best framer I've ever had the pleasure of working with over decades of collecting fine art. Jennifer is not merely a framer, but an artist and a professional who not only builds and designs her own frames, but has a unique sense of design & color that will present your artwork in the best possible way. Every frame she has made for us has been beautifully crafted and aesthetically matched to the artwork it is showcasing. As a plus, she is a delightful person who is wonderful to to work with.

Brave Birds, an art exhibition, made for a brilliant book launch tonight at Walnut Hill. The gallery shined under the key lighting as friends and acquaintances wished the author and artist well. If you took a moment, you could meet book editors, philosophers and sculptors in a single pass around the framing tables. One senses that Jennifer the galleries went out on a limb producing the show. But that's only part of the story. Like a brave bird, she learned to use her wings on the way plunging to the ground. Watch this space for more brave launches.

I am in love with my art all over again! We recently had a painting and a monotype piece reframed by the owner of Walnut Hill, and the process was easier than I expected. Jennifer walked me through the options for both as we were struggling to find the right spot for our art in outdated frames and mattes. The quality of the frames is unreal! You can tell she cares a lot about every piece by the craftsmanship, materials and time she takes to make sure it's perfect, and we found her prices to be reasonable for the specialty product she creates. We are already looking for the next piece to put in her capable hands. Thanks, Jennifer!

World Class framing and the art, especially the current exhibition, is stellar!

What a lovely experience! Jennifer knows how to build a frame that speaks with and embraces each piece of art. Her framing IS a form of art. I cannot say enough how skillful, attentive and careful her framing work has been. I will definitely keep working with her.

Not very organized. Messed up our order 2 days before art exhibition. She didn't give us a work order so my guess is she did it based on memory. When I tried to understand how an order could get so messed up she got extremely defensive and said we've been unpleasant the entire time we've been working with her and that there are other framers we can work with. So now I've cleared my day to hunt down a guy in Chatham everyone keeps recommending...

As an artist who has shown nationally and internationally for more than a decade, I feel well qualified to evaluate the work of a framer and exhibition designer. Jennifer's frames are better built and better designed than the VAST majority, and she is on par with the best of the best. There are a couple of framers that I know of who do work as good (as in, a couple of them in the entire country) but I have never seen one who is better. Pair that with an incredible eye for presentation design and a sense of color that is so good it is spooky, and you have an amazing combination. That she is a treat to work with is simply icing on the cake. Don't know what the heck that other reviewer is talking about; I can only assume she really is that unpleasant to work with.

Jen is one of the most professional and talented framers I have ever met! Her turnaround time is fast, her work is spotless, and she and her team even builds many of her frames custom in house. Walnut Hill is the best of the best and I even send friends and clients from NYC to her since her quality is on par with the best of the best there, but her turnaround time and prices are way better. The gallery is pretty great too! Her framing job on Maude White's paper cut birds was able to make beautiful artwork even more beautiful.

Framing is an art as well as a craft, at its best. So it makes sense that you would combine the two by having an art gallery and frame store in one clean, well-lighted place. I brought a large, archival quality photograph to Walnut Hill and the owner offered options that I doubt I would have found anywhere else other than a big city. I spoke to her at length and discovered she's a painter who has worked in NYC art galleries and she's married to an artist whose work is exhibited in museums. She was lots of fun to talk to and understanding about cost, as well as about my priorities. I buy frames at various places, including cheapo frames at Target when appropriate. But for the few pieces of genuine art that I've been fortunate enough to own or buy, I try to invest in a frame that is part of the aesthetic experience. Walnut Hill is about as close to actually being an artist or working in a museum as you will get. Woman-owned, too!

What a relief to entrust my artwork to good hands! I have very tricky and delicate framing needs and Jennifer delivers every time. Jennifer knows how to build a frame that speaks with and embraces each piece of art. I am very satisfied and I will definitely keep working with her.
