Hudson Veterinary Clinic

Dr Mongil and staff are excellent, they care about the four legged patients and humans. He took excellent care of my baby. My 16 yr old Pomeranian until I had to put her down and he was so great with coming in after hours after a trip and on the weekend. She went peacefully and quickly in my arms. The staff were excellent when picked up my baby's remains. ?♥️?♥️

Fun experience led by Kristen (apologies if that's incorrect spelling) - she was very thorough, attentive, and personable. My partner and I opted in to upgrade to create our own fragrances (good selection of bases/notes) and we are greatly satisfied by the results.

A bit more on the pricey end, but worthwhile if a shared activity is what you're in the mood for.

I recently stayed at an Vanderbilt Lakeside for my bachelorette party, and it was an unforgettable experience thanks to our incredible hosts, Henrietta and Matt. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accommodated.

The highlight of our stay was the dinner party they organized for us. The food was absolutely amazing—each dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The drinks were equally impressive, making for a perfect evening of celebration.

The space itself was fantastic. The backyard was a wonderful spot to relax and hang out, and being so close to Hudson made it easy for us to explore the area. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-decorated, providing a perfect retreat after our busy days.

Overall, I can't recommend Vanderbilt Lakeside enough. Henrietta and Matt’s hospitality made my bachelorette weekend truly special. If you’re looking for a charming place to stay with outstanding hosts, this is it!

Upper Depot Brewing Co.

I live in AZ and this is the 3rd year I have come back to visit dear friends and do so around the Upper Depot Brewing's Octoberfest. Sure the renovated train station is a wonderfully developed space, the outdoor deck and patio are a great place to share a brew, but it is the delightful and flavorful beers and the warm, kind, and engaging staff that makes this establishment stand out. From thousands of miles away, it feels like a home spot and my palate never lacks for being pleased with the brews. They are committed to their craft and to the local community. It is always a treat to come visit. Here's to the continued growth of the Octoberfest festival to becoming a "must do" on everyone's fall calendar.

Adorable wine bar with a great selection of wine in the most perfect, inviting, cozy vibe. A must visit if you're in Hudson!

We had their vinho verde, the malbec and the montepulciano (an easy to drink red we'd never tried), along with their charcuterie board and olives. The staff was super attentive and helpful with their recommendations. The pours were generous and the light jazz playlist was the perfect addition. Thank you!

The ambiance, service and drinks were all good. The food left something to be desired. The fried chicken was crispy. My date thought they were flavorful, but the flavor was bland to me. And the clam chowder just didn't hit for some reason. The clams tasted fresh, but the soup itself was not really fully satisfying. Adding that to the limitations of the menu for anything nutritious, it left something to be wanted. I ended up eating a protein bar on my drive home.

Stopped in early this morning while walking through town, first time in Hudson and this place looked cool so I gave it a shot. Got a maple latte and chocolate croissant, both of which were great. Shoutout to the barista who helped me out, didn't get her name but she had cool blue beaded earrings, made great conversation and great coffee. Sure I would've appreciated the place even more if I were a motorcycle guy!

Hudson Brewing Company is located in an actual warehouse. The vibe is cool, there's plenty of part seating, tables for small and larger groups, and an outdoor patio with a fire pit. There are also a few games like darts and I think shuffleboard. We tried a few beers and some I enjoyed and others not so much, but they let you try small samples or you can even do a flight. Plenty of parking and there is a food truck with small bites. The pretzels were delicious (!!!) and the buffalo wings were way too spicy (my partner who loves spice agreed they were tough to eat). Overall I thought this was a pretty good brewery, and I would certainly go back if I find myself in Hudson again!

Love this place for my morning coffee. I grab a coffee a few times a week in the morning for my morning walk. Also love this place for an afternoon coffee with a friend. The furniture invites you to settle in for a nice long conversation. I see folks with dogs, kids, working at the tables, etc. I like the welcoming vibe provided by the staff and the whole setup. The coffee is good as are the pastries, breakfast breads and egg sandwich.
