Took my son's Honda Fit to Matt's because the check engine light was on and it was throwing codes that were transmission related. He told me "It needs a new transmission." I said "Are you sure, it only has 90k miles and I find that odd for a honda to need a transmission at 90k." He assured me it definitely needed a transmission no doubt about it. I picked the car up a took it to a transmission shop who told me the car was leaking transmission fluid from the driver side front axle and it was extremely low on fluid due to this issue. I said I just had both front axles replaced by the dealership due to a recall. The dealership was at fault for not installing it correctly. Anyway, took it back to the dealer, had them correct the faulty axle and seal and refill with transmission fluid. Car runs like new again. Total cost $0. Matt's quote for a "needed transmission" $2300.00. A new transmission wouldn't have corrected the problem because the axle seal would still be leaking. Why didn't Matt spot the leaky axle seal? Stay away from this place folks or at least get a second opinion. It saved me $2300.00.

Scheduled a week in advance, provided the parts, dropped it off as soon as they opened. I asked if it would be done that day because I need it, I got a "sure". I call at 3:30 to get an update... "we're just pulling it in now can you wait until tomorrow". Out of principle I picked it up and will take it somewhere else or do the work myself. Idk about the quality of their work(didn't get the chance) but as far as my situation goes I feel they're either unreliable or dishonest. Could be an isolated experience but that was my experience

Waste of time and money. Prices kept changing for the same thing to be done, both times i was scheduled to have the work done they didnt have the parts planned to be installed. Id rate it a zero if i could.
