I took a cat here after a very expensive veterinarian diagnosed her with “ obesity”..there is a mother daughter team assisting the dr and my cat was thoroughly examined-head to toe! Her ears were cleaned and she was combed and I was told she could not reach to clean her bottom and they did that too..they took blood and within 24 hours she was diagnosed with diabetes. She had developed neuropathy at this point as well. I got her to a vet just in time to maybe reverse this but she could have died if it wasn’t for this humane society! I am entirely grateful for their expertise and attention! Thank You for saving our Blue!

These people work so hard to help the animals. Adoption is a powerful option in the battle to help homeless pets. I'm on my second pet from this facility.

They provide an amazing service, but not only took my cats nail caps off when I had not asked for that, but also informed me over the phone Care Credit was accepted only for my brother to go pick up my cat and be charged. What's the point of charging a day before the surgery if you're not going to inform the charge didn't go through until after the surgery? I could've been told when I dropped her off at the very least. I budgeted and paid off my card specifically for this surgery, now I'm set back and in a very tight spot after sending the money back to my brother. Clearer communication would be appreciated!

Very loving and sharing professionals. We lost our cat of 15 years. When we were ready for a new cat we came here. At our age kittens are cute, but not for us. We selected a 5 year old. Have had her now over six months and she is “perfect” in every way. Due to travel distance we were able to complete the adoption all in one day. Thanks so very much. We adopted Goldilocks about a week ago and we couldn't be happier. Amazing staff who took the time and explained all Goldi's medications at the time of adoption. Prices were very reasonable compared to other facilities that charge upward of $500. We found a life long family member in Goldi that we love dearly.

This review is for the vet clinic only.I am grateful for the local low cost option. I have a dog with severe chronic skin allergies who requires regular vet care. I used to drive to HVARS in Poughkeepsie. He had an exam, a medicated shampoo, a couple different medicines in pill and injectable form. It came out to less than $130. My cat Nacho's 1 year shots were only $30.My only complaint is the vet assistant (blue scrubs) who yelled at my other cat Blizzard, which upset us a great deal, especially my partner who spoke up and was accused of "screaming" at the staff by the vet tech (red scrubs). Ironic.When they took the cats they had us wait in the waiting area rather than having one of us come in, Blizzard couldn't be examined because she is afraid of strangers and freaked out. She was already stressed from being in the carrier and she didn't cooperate with the staff. I work in the pet care industry and I would never yell at a cat, even if it bit or scratched me.I will use them as my regular vet but I will not wait outside next time.

Worst experience ever. The clinic verbally abused and mistreated my cats. When I asked them why they were yelling at my animals they all pointed the finger at each other and played d**** Staff should not be working with animals.

Nice, clean, large facility. Staff are friendly and vet clinic staff were great with our dog and cat. Prices are very reasonable compared to vet offices. I'm glad we went here and will continue to do so in the future.

Jessica and the staff there are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The animals are all very well cared for and the wellness clinic is a true gem. If you are looking for a worthy shelter to donate too it is this one !!

Unfortunately, we had to go here for euthanasia service. The staff was supportive and comforting. Certainly made a bad day for us a little easier. ❤️

Love this place!!! The staff is great. We've been using them for 3 years now to board our dog when we're on vacation. Our dog gets plenty of play time while he's there, and they send us pics every other day which is great - and he's always in good spirits when we pick him up! The facility seems nice as well although I've never seen the inside area where the dogs stay. Prices are very reasonable for what they provide.We've also used them to get a vaccine once and for a neuter procedure. Both instances were great as well.

The staff is helpful and courteous. The kitty ? cat boy was taken care for his neuter. The price for the visit was reasonable.
