My wife and I have been taking our cats here for years. We refuse to see any other veterinarian in the area because everyone here actually cares about you and your animals and are good at what they do. If they can't do any procedures your animal requires on-site, they will make a recommendation you can trust. Their prices are also some of the best in the area... I think we paid around $100 for a yearly checkup, nail trimming, and a couple of vaccinations. Dr. Amber is especially kind... when we had to say goodbye to one of our cats last year, she told us exactly what to expect and didn't do anything without our consent. She even cried alongside us, and I've never seen a veterinarian do that before. I can't recommend these guys enough.

Great place. We were not there for a good reason, but they were helpful and supportive. They had our "Trouble" fixed and home the same day!

Best care anywhere!! They are truly a part of your pets life. I drive almost an hour to get there and wouldn't think of taking my pet elsewhere.

Honestly would not go anywhere else for our pets. They have so much compassion for the pets and their owners. They genuinely will do whatever they can to make any experience easier, even the sadness of putting a pet down.

We've used Howes Cave for several years and over several dogs, they always try to get us in if there is an emergency and have consistently called us back well past closing to check on our fur babies. All of the vets there have been attentive and thorough.

Place was clean, well organized staff, no long wait time. Pet got his exam, blood drawn, shot and nails clipped. The female veterinarian was easy to talk to. Explained everything in plain english. Staff friendly and helpful. Total time there not more than 45 minutes.

Have to leave a message to get a call back for an appointment which can be hard & not accepting new clients which makes it hard to get a local vet. This would be a 2 or 3 star rating for this part alone.
When your pet does get in for an appointment the vets are great and listen to your concerns with your pet would give 5 stars for.
With this said this is why they get the rating they do.
