I’m so glad I found Vitality Salon for hair and makeup services for our August 2023 wedding! Sam Husner and Amanda Callahan were fabulous makeup & hair artists, respectively. They traveled to our venue (the Treman Center) and completed HMU on mothers of the bride & groom, 4 bridesmaids and the bride. They finished everyone ahead of schedule!!As someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup generally (which was the case with most of the bridal party as well), Sam and Amanda understood exactly what I was envisioning (natural, “you-but-elevated” look) for everyone else. I also completed a hair & makeup trial about a month before which was really helpful, as we found that a certain pair of false eyelashes looked better on me than another. I was also touched to receive not only a tube of my lip gloss color for touch-ups later (which will probably become my go-to brand/color!) but also a small emergency pack of tissues, blotters, and other items. Most importantly, the hair and makeup stayed put until all was said and done, about 10-11 hours, and didn’t budge a bit when the inevitable tears came. Definitely recommend Vitality for any upcoming wedding!

Words can’t describe how pleased I was working with Amanda and Sam from Vitality! They were able to travel to our wedding venue the morning of and provide hair and makeup services to five bridesmaids, one mother, and myself, the bride, in a timely fashion. They were both confident, efficient, and creative replicating each of our desired looks from pictures to bring to life various preferences. They made everyone look beautiful and totally crushed it! I had no doubt they would do an amazing job after my trial run at their salon. The most important thing to them was making sure that we were all happy and comfortable, which was refreshing and made for a smooth start to the big day! I would absolutely recommend Vitality (especially Amanda and Sam) to any bride looking for talented hairstylists and makeup artists!

The wonderful ladies at Vitality did wedding hair and makeup for myself and my bridesmaids and moms. They were so wonderful to work with, from the trial through the wedding day. Sam, Lindsay, Amanda, and Shea were kind, efficient, and easy to communicate with. They did a phenomenal job making us look like our most beautiful selves. I cannot recommend them enough!

A VERY satisfied bride ?- After a few failed attempts with salons local to me, I decided to do a Facebook search of salons in the Elmira area and landed on Vitality. THANK GOD! They were very responsive and accommodating right from the beginning. I met Lindsay at my bridal trial and instantly felt at ease and confident with my choice in hair style. I also felt like I’ve known her my whole life, she’s so sweet and truly cares about her clients! The day of the wedding went perfect, Lindsay knocked out my hair, plus 3 bridesmaids and 1 MOB. Their updos were absolutely gorgeous and lasted all day and into the night as we danced the night away. I’m so grateful I found Vitality Salon and had the pleasure of letting Lindsay work her magic!

I was scrambling to find a salon to do hair and makeup for two for my wedding. They were able to get us in and did phenomenal. Our makeup was on point and hair was fabulous. They are so great, awesome environment, and excellent skills! I put my face and hair in her hands and she didn’t disappoint. I highly recommend!

I cannot get over what a beautiful job both Sam and Lindsay did for my wedding last month!! Not only are they both so friendly, kind, and attentive, but the work they do is phenomenal. My bridal party planned a girl’s weekend for our hair and makeup trial and Sam and Lindsay really helped to make our morning at Vitality fun and laid back! They both listened to our feedback and took notes; Sam took lots of pictures of my makeup for the trial too, so I felt confident heading into the wedding day. They were super prompt – we had 7 people getting both hair and makeup done that day – and were great at keeping us on schedule. Everyone’s hairstyle was unique yet flowed well together, and the makeup matched everyone’s personalities and preferences perfectly. I appreciated how committed they were to listening and adjusting to make sure everyone was happy. I used Vitality Salon for my wedding this past weekend and they were absolutely amazing! I absolutely loved my hair and makeup as did my mom and entire bridal party. I would highly recommend them for your wedding or special event where beauty services are needed!

I had reservations about getting my hair trimmed, as I have fear & anxiety about having it touched by other people. I’ve let stylists touch my hair with scissors twice in 10 years, & both times they did a hack job! They did whatever they wanted & nothing I asked for! My anxiety levels were high going into Vitality, but Kate made it better, she got it all right! She did exactly as I asked & made verbal suggestions & got my permission before doing anything else. She was super friendly & the atmosphere was welcoming! I finally found a salon & stylist I can trust. I 100% recommend Vitality!!!
