I had a very uncomfortable/sad experience at this office yesterday. I had scheduled an appointment online with my primary care provided because of health concerns I was having since Christmas. I was a few minutes late and of course, check-in takes a couple more minutes and then check-in with the nurse another five...only to have my primary care provider sit down and tell me that I only had 3 minutes left for my appointment and that she didn't have the time to discuss all of my concerns...what?It was not conveyed during scheduling or after that the appointment would only be 15 minutes. If there is some kind of expectation, patients need to be informed prior to the appointment. My blood pressure was elevated. Gee, I wonder why.My healthcare provider didn't have time for me, which made me feel like I didn't matter. Clearly, I was not a priority. Also, I left the office with no answers, or idea of a game plan...something that could have been easily remedied by just a two-minute conversation, but she didn't have time or didn't take the time. We ruled out any serious issues...(I think??)Oh, and after this 3 minute appointment...my insurance was billed close to $300 for this appointment. (I'm shaking my head over here.)If this is how Guthrie is starting to treat their patients...or if it is just this office... I just want others to be aware. No one would have been happy with the visit I had yesterday. Suffice to say, I will not be back.

This was my first time ever going to any Guthrie facility and I am very satisfied with the care and treatment I received today. I needed to go to the walking-in clinic and saw PA Foster and I believe Eric was my nurse. They are both really great. They were both personable, and made me comfortable. I didn’t mind the wait either. Upon checking in I was told it was at least 90 minutes since with it being the New Years weekend, there was only 1 provider available for the walk-in clinic. While sitting in the waiting room, I saw the wait time listed increase and when people who were walking were informed that it would now be 2hr, then 2 1/2hrs, then 3hrs, I just sat there and said to myself, “it’s what I get for not coming when they first opened for the day,” but others were complaining and being rude to young lady at the front check in desk. There have been times I have waited over 4-5hrs in an ER waiting room to be called back when there are multiple providers available. Here the was only 1 and I’m thankful that it actually went faster than initially told. I was called back within less than 1hr to go into a room and was walking out within less than the 90 minutes I was told upon. I am glad that my husband told me to come here and know that next time we are visiting my in-laws, that if I need to see a Dr, I know I can come here.Thank you Guthrie Walk-In Care, Big Flats

I saw Eric Phillips DO here, he was semi confrontational, would not listen to my concerns, had to be pushed to do diagnostics of any kind, did not take my symptoms seriously, I had to push for a COVID test, he didn't even feel my swollen lymph nodes and told me it's "not that bad", I got the distinct feeling I was being mistreated due to my financial status. I am sitting home with a 101.7 degree fever, and I can't access my test results because the Guthrie portal is broken or something. I even asked for smoking cessation and was ignored. I have been mistreated so much in Chemung county by doctors that if this is something that is fatal I am getting depressed enough to just let it kill me. Thanks a lot.

Show up right at 7 and told two people in front of us. Have a year and a two month old waiting to be seen, have asked if someone is going to check on us and multiple times have been told yes. We now sit here still an hour and a half later. Absolutely terrible place to be seen if sick, changing my pcp after the visit Just due to the affiliation with Guthrie.

12/05/22 Called at 4:35pm. Was put on hold til they closed, at 5:00pm. That's 25 MINUTES on hold! Never answered, just 'click' like they realized it was time to go. When I called back I got the after hours answering service guy. He was very nice. He transferred me to the walk-in clinic, who never answered their phone. Just rang and rang then went beep beep beep and disconnected. Tried once more, same thing. I took medical office plus I worked 20 years in clerical/reception positions. Can I get a position there? I could do a better job, hands down. No phone was allowed to ring past 3 times. No more than a minute on hold without getting back on and seeing if they still wanted to hold.

Templates are being used for progress note completion and the majority of what's been documented wasn't done. THIS IS INSURANCE FRAUD.

Appointment was in September '22. Had a cold, like everyone else waiting. Took my billing info, told me to wait in my car. After more than an hour and a half, I went in to tell them I'm going down the street. So they took me in. The Practitioner checked me out, then proceeded to yell at me for being sick in public, told me she wouldn't perscribe anything because she 'didn't want to be liable, you're too sick for me to do anything about, and if you try to go to any other clinic in town, they'll tell you the same thing. You belong in an Emergency room on a respirator'. So I went down the street to Arnot Medical Clinic, and got a prescription. Was fine the next day. Guthrie sent me a $500 bill for doing nothing. This place is haunted.

Dr Park is extremely thorough, and is also very knowledgeable, kind, & compassionate. I highly recommend Dr Park very highly. The entire staff at The Arnot Mall clinic have been as kind as possible too.

The doctors are decent/sub-par however the front desk staff is truly disgusting. They are rude, dismissive, and neglectful. They talk over you, they do not listen to a thing you have to say, they continue to belittle and degrade you with every word that comes out of their mouths. I wish there was a way to simply bi-pass the entire front desk area because while their job may be customer service the only service we as customers receive is getting disrespected and shown how little we matter to this company.

Worst patient care in my life. Guthrie orthopdics refuses to call me back with mri results after 3 requests. Zero relief from 6 months of crippling pain. Ive been passed around as a customer rather than a patient.Mri center stated results have been in for weeks.Guthrie used to be the best...now are subpar at best.Kim ryans office even emailed me telling ME to get them the results. I am the patient not employed by guthrie so this is pure laziness and ignorance. While i sit here in crippling pain they want me to do their job for them...what a joke. UHS health is far superior and i will be using them from now on. Guthrie ortho in bath and kim ryan are nothing more than a band aid station taking patients money. Shamefully pathetic.

Sitting all morning waiting for what seems to be an unesserary procedure. Looks like just letting us sit to charge for another day..id like to see insurance investigate and refuse to pay some of the bills.
