The Lofts at Rockland Silk Mill does not disappoint. The rooms are immaculate, huge ceilings and windows. Very nice wood flooring, I am in love with the industrial look. Everything is beautiful and up to date. They even made accommodations with rent when AC unit was being fixed. Nice, friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

I love this apartment! Beautiful natural floors, unique lighting fixtures, and great laundry machines. They really are beautiful apartments. The noise complaints from other reviewers has not been a real issue for us, although you can hear others sometimes but not in a bothersome way. The train does go by occasionally but it’s not bothersome either. It is a beautifully renovated old silk mill. It even has a heated garage for those who want to park there instead of brave the winter cold. Great location, easy walking distance to town! Also great if you have pets, very pet friendly. Overall we are very happy with our place here, and would recommend it to anyone!

I gave it one star for the nice appliances and this place is good if you leave Hornell for work since it is close to the main road.If you need a place to store your stuff while you are never home, this is a great 1700$ a month storage rental. Because they forgot to put in sound proofing walls in a old brick building.. or insulation. You can hear every detail of your multiple neighbor's life including coughs, normal level phone conversations, and all their bathroom plumbing. I wake up at 5 am with my neighbors even though I work at 8 am due to their plumbing sounds.In terms of insulation, if you live on the first floor, you are basically paying to heat up the neighbor above you's apartment.All in all it is a old factory building with nice appliances. The walls and floors are all appearance with no substance.

The leasing process was amazing and smooth. Jocelyn was very helpful and answered all questions and was welcoming from the start. The inside of the apartment was immaculate.
