The Econo Lodge is a budget-friendly hotel offering basic accommodations. Guests describe it as a decent place to stay for the price, with clean rooms, working air conditioners, refrigerators, microwaves, and free parking. The staff is consistently noted as friendly, helpful, and quick to resolve issues. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful location, though some note it is set back from main areas. However, there are significant drawbacks. The rooms and beds are described as old, with very hard mattresses and thin pillows. A serious safety concern involves the shower water heaters, which can shift dangerously from hot to cold, posing a burn risk. There have also been instances of unreliable breakfast service, with the dining area closed during posted hours without clear communication. Overall, the experience reflects the low cost: you get what you pay for, with fundamental cleanliness and friendly service but outdated amenities and some important operational and safety issues.
It's set way back in the middle of nowhere. The beds were hard as rock and super old and creaky and the pillows were not existent, super thin. There was a tv, and microwave, a refrigerator, and an air conditioner. For the price I got I can't really complain too much. The girl at the front desk was super nice.
