Needed to find a new hairdresser and I saw a few good reviews on this place. I have normal hair, normal cut but the last place I went butchered me! So I was a little afraid, but my fears were put to rest at Studio 51. I walked in and was promptly greeted by the owner who was working on a client. Another hairdresser, Madison, happily made an appt with me for a few days later. Showed up for my haircut and again greeted as soon as I walked in. Madison saw me promptly on time (my pet peeve with any appointment!), and spent a full hour on a wash cut and blow dry. She evened out my chop-job, was professional and friendly, and I already made my next appointment. Good vibe in this place and great stylists. Highly recommend.

Heather and the other ladies are always so welcoming and make you feel like you are visiting with friends. They ask what you have in mind and actually listen before, during and after your cut. I am new to the area, so when a friend recommended Studio 51 I made the appointment without any preconceived notions of what to expect but only knowing what I didn't want from past experiences. I was very happy when I left and received many compliments on my hair over the next month. That's how great the cut was. There was no pushiness as far as upselling was concerned. Heather even traveled an hour to my wedding venue to do hair and makeup. I could gush for hours but then you would think this is a made up review. It's not. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

No one ever answers the phone when I call to make an appointment. I assume the ladies are busy which is fine, so I leave a message with my contact information. This has been going on for about a month now. They need to hire someone to answer phones and retirm calls before they lose morce customers! I have left numerous messages as I wanted to make appointments for my mother and I, yet no one ever calls me back! I have also heard this from a couple other women in my neighborhood who were trying to make appointments for themselves, spouse or kids (no calls were returned). So, this review is on their behalf as well. Anyways, I loved it here but unfortunately, we all found a new place. We couldn't wait around anymore trying to get through to someone to make an appointment. Otherwise, it's a good place.

I love this salon! Lovely group of ladies here who really know what they're doing. I have never been disappointed when I get my hair done here. I highly suggest you give this place a try because you won't be disappointed!
