“This is the best post office I've ever been to. The post master is helpful, kind and very pleasant. He helps me with all sorts of mailing ideas saving me worry and money. I was there a week ago and I could see an elderly woman just leaving. I went to hold the door for her but the post master was already there. He then escorted her to her truck and helped him into it. When he came back, he apologized for the delay. Can we have more people like him, please?”

“Great personnel who are not grumpy when you rush in 2 minutes before closing. Small approx 8x10 foot service waiting area that is well lit, clean and cheerful. They care about keeping customers safe during the pandemic and are fast and proficient. Very welcoming and patiently helpful staff of essential workers. Makes a needed trip to the PO very pleasant.I send mail to many parts of the world and not one of this small-town post office’s staff has ever made disdainful comments about another country on my mail/package or the “funny way“ their addresses are written, like I’ve heard at larger P O stations. “This review is late, but better than never. Some time after the pandemic I walked into the post office to a REALLY long line and this fellow (see image) was the only person assisting customers.
He was on point and did not skip a beat. He maintained great professionalism and a good attitude. Never did he display fatigue or signs that he was overwhelmed. I could have left and come back another day but i waited the 40+ minutes to get up front and have everyone applaud him for being so awesome at his job.
Its been the same every time i went back and that consistency is admirable. Thank you for you professionalism man... I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciated it.”

“Excellent Post Office. I’ve always loved the USPS and very happy that this town has a great one. The self-serve kiosk is a huge advantage and allows shipping and stamp purchase 24 hours, in addition to it being a nice alternative at busy times or when in a rush. It’s a dated building, but the main purpose is utility and not a beauty contest so that’s certainly no deterrent. The staff is excellent, particularly Rebecca and Robert, after Jose retired being long-standing customer-focused friendly staff member. In a small “downtown” area of the hamlet of Hopewell it’s conveniently located. Always happy coming to do business here.”
