If a bank were a restaurant, I’d eat here every day! In fact, I’m greeted by name with a smile by the manager and head teller. In about 8 years, I’ve waited online only once with one person ahead of me. They provide smart banking options and services that are helpful to their customers based on the customer’s banking style, patterns and personal finances.

I've been a customer for many years and have been very satisfied. There was one instance where they held an out of state check for 5 days which resulted in an overdraft. This didn't make sense because the check was from a Wells Fargo bank. That being said, overall, they have been very reliable and accommodating. Three years ago they were very helpful when my purse was stolen. They temporarily froze the account and made an otherwise difficult situation tolerable. Most recently the manager in the Hopewell office filled out the necessary forms due to fraud from a third party paycheck company. Within 24 hours my account had been credited. Other people I spoke to did not have it so easy, even from another branch of M and T. This bank is convenient and reliable, so I will stay with them for as long as I live in this area.

Staff are great and very helpful! The bank manager really helped me and I appreciated the straightforward approach where as other banks beat around the bush!

All of the staff are nice and accommodating and know what they are doing except for the branch manager executive vice president. Although, I had plenty of money in my account to cover all the checks, the branch manager would not allow me to cash all the local checks. She came up with many excuses that were not valid. To top off her boss some how had to back her up.

M&T is by far the worst bank ever stay away from here!
