I lived in one of the townhouses. Modern and nice looking. The lack of communication is terrible. From day one any time you tried to contact for questions or about maintenance they completely ignored you. I never had any maintenance request filled and never had any work done on my townhouse in 2 years. They raised my rent without ever telling me. Just started posting I owed them more money each month. I asked if there was a rent increase. Never answered. I did not hear from them at all when I gave my 30 day move out date. I asked for an inspection before I moved out of town, they could not accommodate. I am now fighting trying to get my security deposit back. I even hired a professional cleaning company to clean it spotless. I did get a snarky reply back when I sent them references to NYS rental laws telling me they just mailed me a list of charges. Should have been seamless as I was a model tenant.

The "property manager" Mary is an atrocious human. Not only does she lie to tenants, she makes empty threats to try to keep people in control. Not worth renting here, they don't even pay attention to maintenance tickets. All the front office staff seem like they constantly have an attitude issue, which they should probably address ASAP if they want to retain customers.

I was standing in the parking lot, taking a business call, on my way to Barks and Bubbles (amazing dog groomers), when an employee came out of the building and yelled at me for standing off in the corner, not bothering anyone, near an empty parking spot.Be careful, these folks are very precious of their nearly empty parking lot. I wouldn’t be surprised if they reacted violently to the next person minding their own business.To the employee who yelled at me- therapy is a very cheap and valuable service that I think will help. I imagine you’re very lonely.If this is how they react to someone off the street, I can only imagine what a nightmare they are to renters.

It’s a shame to see such unfortunate people taking advantage of a small community. The owner is negligent, the managers are dismissive, and the support they “provide” is just short of doing nothing at all. I sincerely hope that they’ll do the smart thing and change their line of work.

I currently rent from Mathstone, the apartments are great roomy and comfortable. The office and maintenance staff are absolutely amazing, I would recommend anyone that is looking for a great affordable place to live in the Honeoye Falls area to look no further then Mathstone.
