They are so lazy they give us 12:15 pm when I go there at 12 they said the person go for lunch she take more than 1 hour just for a break they are irresponsible and unprofessional and my 1st and last vist and please do go bcz they just waste your time.

I made an appointment to apply for a passport, but they told me that the person who applied for the passport was not at work. So what are you going to make an appointment for? Really rubbish management. There should be no such monopoly.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST USPS IN AMERICA THEY ARE THIEFS AND THEY ONLY HIRE ILLITERATE CRIMINALS TO WORK FOR THEM THEY DONT ANSWER CALLS AT STORE HOURS AND DO.M NOT HELP BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONE STEALING YOUR PACKAGE THEY SHOULD NOT BE PART IF USPS IT A 1000000000000% DISGRACE TO CALL YHE USPS DISGUSTING THIEVES IS WHAT THEY ARE .

Nothing but thieves work here, I’ve got multiple packages stolen out of and re wrapped with boxing tape and sent to my house. Little do these workers know that’s a federal charge. And I know the right people to get that whole place shut down!

Worst usps branch in the new york. Theres a lady with spectacles who is very rude. I had an urgent delivery, i went to the postal office 2 days to get the update on the package. Everytime she lied and said the package is out for delivery. She f LIED.I told her i have a flight to catch on 15, she was like, do i care? If dont know the status of the package dont LIE or dont give false information.She is probably a spanish-American lady with spectacles. Dont take services from her. And most importantly she doesn’t want to properly communicate with people.I wish I could give negative star reviews

It wouldn't let me post without 0 stars, this is by far the worst place on the planet. No one is ever available to help you, they don't answer the phone, there's no manager , nothing. This is ridiculous.

Gigi assisted me. She is very competent. Quite graceful, even. Knows how to talk to people.(Just so you know, service at the Queens Village post office nearby is the direct opposite, especially an employee named Tapas and their supervisor -- a tall, black man who refused to disclose his name. They're the rudest I've come across in a while.)

Terrible lady (the one with hijab) working at the front desk, did not want to help at all and told me to do it online. She had a terrible attitude and said "I shouldn't have helped at all" when I decided to leave the property. I was nothing but nice to her, i never had this kind of rude exchange at a professional place before in my life.

Came here to apply for a new passport for my child and it was the worst experience of my life. Do yourself a favor and drive to a better area to get it done. The service is as good as the neighborhood.

TRUST AND BELIEVE IF YOU LIVE IN HOLLIS AND EXPECT MAIL FORGET ABOUT IT. I work for the post office and it’s sad that we do more customer service and more of the “customer right” thing at our station. I told the manager that I needed these pills prescribed and was trying to located the CCA that delivers 2 hrs of mail for 6hrs and when the person has matching name and address that’s is matching the packages you could give it to the customer. Manager tells me “ we don’t do that and that’s that” and hangs ups on me so best believe if you think they care they don’t look at there reviews half of them never even did a route for a whole year ??♂️ and try to manage people when they can’t even manage there professionalism

Been coming to the Hollis location for over 10 years now and I must say the custodian Robert has it smelling good and looking clean now. No more overflowing trash cans and the lobby is always nice and fresh now. The main thing I notice now is the pleasant smell that it never used to have. I used to visit another location but I think this will be my main one now just because of how clean it is. Now something can be done about my packages!

I’ve been with this post office for years. Let’s just say 2022 the post office seem to fall short. So Off to a horrible start for 2023 Weird (unknown)package senders. Missing packages. Etc. As this was the easiest way to a more peaceful mailing service (regular mailbox / missing home packages) I was becoming hesitant to leave. Johnson (supervisor) and all her diligent employees and what seems to be an under staff location. Not only located package but gave me a direct call when was found. Hopefully the others that day also with missing packages had luck. Great location. Needs work but staff seem to be dedicated. Don’t trust the 1 star review. Community may need work. Hopefully they continue to use appropriate measures in staying safe and providing good customer service especially the more digital we become.

I went for a passport appointment 2 days ago but we didn't bring a document because it was not specified in the webpage so one of the ladies in the front desk very kindly allowed us to bring it today friday 02/03/2023 in the early morning . So we were there at 8:30 am, we had to wait for one of the ladies who knew the passport process to add the document, etc. In the meantime, there was a chinese lady called "Vivian". She acted very rude with all the customers that started to go beginning with us. First she did not made herself clear to us that we had to wait for another person to give the document, she almost ignored us and we knew what we had to do because we continuously asked her.Second, there was another man who had a problem with a tracking number, he was there even when we got there so literally spent like an hour in the office and he waited more than 30 mins for the manager for help him. Later, when he finally had all the information the manager requested she didn't come out and did not give any explanation, she just left him there waiting and wating, he tried to call her and speak with the chinese lady "Vivian" but she also was rude with him. At the end he left very upset so nobody showed any interest to solve his problem.Third, there was another lady who came in and her package was received a day ago, they told her it was and also was marked as it was received but then today when she passed by it was not found. She wanted to speak with the manager, she never showed up either (and she was there talking and walking around). She had a rude response to her from the window inside, she just sent her messages with the chinese lady from the front window (Vivian). At the end she had to request a refund form to take home but at least she was helped by another girl who came at 9am, called "Gigi", she was very kind, educate and explained the problem to her, she demonstrated interest.In addition, later on, another customer passed by and her native language was not english so she couldn't understand what the chinese lady " Vivian" was explaining. In one moment she was asked to close the little door they have to receive a package but she was not understanding so the lady started to speak loud and with a bad attitude telling her in a bad way to "close the door. At the end I helped her and also told the employee she had to take things more relaxed and not to be so tough with everybody.This office has serious problems in customer service front desk and COMMUNICATION. The only person who was explaining and trying to help with a normal/good/pacific attitude was this girl I mentioned before called "Gigi".I give her 5 stars.I do not recommend this office at all and definitely they need more customer service guidelines to improve their public service starting with the MANAGER.

The custodian Robert Walker tasked with keeping the post office clean does an excellent job. The facility is always well-maintained, with spotless floors and tidy common areas. The custodian pays close attention to detail and makes sure to clean even the most hard-to-reach areas. The atmosphere inside the post office is always pleasant and welcoming, due in no small part to the custodian's efforts. Overall, the custodian's work helps create a positive experience for all who use the post office, and they should be commended for their dedication and commitment to excellence.
