Everyone I've interacted with from my first phone call to my service today have been friendly and helpful. The company has sent multiple email and text reminders for my appointment today, as well as a courtesy call the day before. I even received both a text and call before they arrived at my house today. All of these were definitely useful and appreciated.
Jason and Tim came today to inspect my coal stove/chimney, and were kind and courteous throughout their time here. We even had some good laughs as well!
Both did their absolute best to explain everything they were doing, everything they noted needed service, and asked many times if I understood and/or had any questions. They always made me feel involved with the process and put me at ease with everything they were doing/explaining to me.
Jason even inspected the chimney for my furnace exhaust even though it wasn't part of the original job, and even though he did find some things that needed fixing, it sets my mind at ease that I know there are problems and can now get them fixed.
I would highly recommend Big Ash Stoves to anyone and everyone!

Big Ash installed our two gas fireplace inserts about 20 years ago and we have had Big Ash inspect and clean them since. Just today, Jeff came to clean and inspect the fireplace inserts. He was personable and efficient in the cleaning (and cleaning up) of our fireplace inserts. He also answered any questions we had. Thank you, Big Ash!

We recently had this team out to talk with us about adding a pellet stove to our living space. Jason and his team were on time and extremely professional. They took the time to take measurements, explain the process, and they answered every question we had.

I am a new customer and will be a continuing customer. Jason and Tim not only did routine maintenance on my gas fireplace, but a complete system health check was performed. Jason examined the roof and attic for any issues and checked every gas pipe joint for leaks. They recorded details for future recall. Elements of the fireplace structure were dismantled and cleaned that were not checked during previous cleanings. It seemed as if a MyChart record had been created for my fireplace. My house was treated with the utmost respect. Customer Service interaction was second to none. Jason knows how to operate a small business. I could not recommend Big Ash more highly.

Replaced our 20 year old gas fireplace. We did a complete remodel with new insert, mantle and stonework. Pricing was better than other quotes and the team was great to work with and helped me come up with a great solution and design.

Seriously, just stop reading the reviews here and call them.
Like any trade, you'll have good, bad, ugly and super ugly.
When dealing with fire, gas, etc. You reallllly don't wanna mess around.
These guys are the good guys.
They show up, they take pride in their work and they are personable.
It was a pleasure to have them in our home and can't speak higher praises about their work.
We moved into our house 2 years ago and were having issues with a 17 year old gas insert.
Instead of coming out and trying to sell as a unit, ours has parts available and they didn't attempt an upsell. They fixed the unit as-is, identified a few parts we'd need (eventually) and moved forward with the inspection I asked for.
Jason and the team proceeded to do a THROUGH inspection of the entire chimney systems in the house.
They sent cameras up chimneys.
They checked all gas lines for leak.
They discovered an issue with our chimney cap and offered to reasonably priced solutions. Which we will be moving forward with this fall or early next spring.
We will be using them as long as I live in a home with any sort of Chimney.
Oh and bonus points because the entire crew was SUPER friendly to my dog and gave her attention.

I've used Big Ash several times over the past 30+ years, and the service I received today was nothing but the best. Every step was thoroughly explained, I was shown pictures, and changes in codes for fireplaces was reviewed for me. Living in a 1948 home, it was helpful to hear every option. The serviceman was timely, efficient and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.
