“Today I had the pleasure of being served by a lovely young lady named Kendall. She was super friendly and had a beautiful beaming smile. Plus she managed to get all of our groceries into a tiny bag!
We had a little banter at the till and she mentioned that she liked the colour of my Hijab (Muslim head covering). I was absolutely flabbergasted that Kendall actually knew what it was called and instantly she made me feel welcome (which is not how I usually feel).
I am actually lost for words but I have the biggest smile on my face.
If management are reading this review then give the girl a pay rise because she is definitely a merit to Tops and deserves it.
Just a note to say Kendall was friendly and welcoming to all the customers not just me. Looking forward to seeing Kendall again.”
“Each time my friends and I go camping, we conduct our own beer tasting event. Each of us bring a variety of craft beers and the 11 of us share 2 oz samples. I was recently in the Greece area and decided to stop by this business. I was looking for unique tastings and was pleasantly surprised with the sour and ale varieties. Pineapple Whip was the overall favorite of the group but we enjoyed the cherry vanilla cola, zombie (so good), fruit punch sour, so many to list. This will be my go to spot for future friends tasting adventures.”

“I am pretty much a straight up ALDI shopper.. the staff will know if they have an item again if it’s not there today, comeback later or if it’s a once in while item they will tell you. Prices are much, much easier on our grocery bill so sometimes we can splurge here and there! The ‘Aisle of Shame’ yielded solid deals on items we needed to take back to Rochester!All in if you have ever shopped TJ’s you can spot gourmet products in the aisles at ALDI but I don’t feel like someone is charging me an arm AND a leg like I used to at the family W—man’s stores.. Shopping is much more of a pleasure than a chore at ALDI ?”
“Go there quite often even though other stores are closer.Best meat selection and great quality. Produce is fresh when I go and fair prices.For a smaller grocery store, it's great!”

“I've been going to Olindo's since I was a kid and have continued to shop there as an adult. It is a treasure trove of Italian goodies. They carry all sorts of shapes of pasta, and a great selection of meats & cheeses. Going to Olindo's is a must go stop before heading out of town to visit family that has lived in Rochester to stock up on things they can't find where they are, and a destination when they come to visit.”
“Always love Wegmans!! Great variety of foods, ingredients, variations of ingredients, helpful for finding items compliant with different dietary types or restrictions… usually if I ever need an ingredient or food that’s less common, I go straight to Wegmans.
Love their sub shop!! Also their Buffalo Bills and/or NY Yankees merchandise area! I’ve found some unique items! -also the Buffalo Bills Little People!
I’ve never had a bad experience with customer service.
They have handicapped parking and pregnant woman/woman with young children parking! I’ve always appreciated that.

“Today i had the pleasure of meeting Megan (short hair) and Carlo her manager. They were great in ensuring my health and safety. No other store would care how they showed they cared. They deserve so much recognition as it is hard to find humane people in these days. People like them make it worth going back to Wegmans❤️”
“In recent years Wegmans has changed a lot. They have taken more brand names off their shelves and replace them with Wegmans brands that are made in Canada. With the Canadian tariffs that we are going to start seeing I doubt the prices will be able to reflect a deep discount as they do now. Honestly, their brand products are not that good. Olives were blan, some cheeses are okay, canned products are lacking a lot of flavor. When it comes to cashing out, Wegmans has replaced a lot of cashiers with self checkout. There's only 2 or 3 cashiers at most at any given time. So hopefully you only need to get 20 items or less! Lol! The 20 items or less would take you to a self checkout. Please note, there are cameras that every single one and seven or eight cameras when you first walk in the door. There's also two or three security guards at the door/walking the floor at any given time. While the East avenue store and pittsford stores remain beautiful the stores on Mount Read and in the Long pond area are not as good as they used to be. I miss Bob, Danny and his family are not doing anything the way Bob did. I will be shopping a lot more at public markets, Amish markets and direct from the farmer if possible. Times are definitely changing.”

“Everything is neat and for the most par well stocked. The employees are nice and helpful. Recently I went there and became ill while checking out. I ask Alex for a scooter and he got me one, then Emily came in with one. They not only finished my check out, Emily followed me to my car, loaded my groceries and made certain I was ok. This is the best Walmart ever!”

“I have to tell you that everyone at Hamlin's Top's is always very nice to me.Mac at the bakery is always friendly, and very helpful. She does such a wonderful job on the strawberry cake. It is delicious.Even the stock people are very helpful and kind. I can't recall the fella's name, but he is always considerate, and goes out of his way to engage in friendly conversation.I can't leave out the pharmacy.Anthony, Michelle, and Peggy, are wonderful. “Wegmans is a premier grocery store. Their stores are clean, well-organized, and customer-focused. Their name is associated with quality goods and services. Present manufacturing shortages aside, they are also usually well-stocked. Their products include typical store brands, as well as their own store brand, and even local produce. Wegmans brand products are generally very good, and they are known for their prepared foods. Their stores offer a substantial natural food section along side such services as a pharmacy, pizza/sub shop, fresh sushi, bakery, floral shop, and some even offer catering. They also have online ordering with home delivery and curbside pickup. There's also a pretty user-friendly app where you can find specials and digitized coupons. Shopping at Wegmans in Rochester, where the store was founded has really spoiled me and makes grocery shopping elsewhere fairly difficult, even with some staples slightly higher priced than other grocery stores like Aldi and WalMart. However, their store brand prices are very competitive. If you get the chance to shop at Wegmans, don't pass it up. It is a worthwhile experience that has garnered interest from international grocery stores. But, it might just make shopping elsewhere a tad less enjoyable.”
“I'm in here all the time for dog food and grocery's. They have everything. Family dollar and dollar tree are around the corner but the people who work at this location are really nice and the prices are great.”
“Surprisingly very clean and organized. I've been to a few Walmarts, they're usually all the same. Affordable prices but less than stellar appearance throughout their stores. This place was a bit different. They seem to take pride in keeping things cleaned and organized. Lots of great prices and even clearance deals all throughout the store.”

“If you have a chance to walk through a Wegman's do it! I'm so happy I had a chance to jet through a location when I was on vacation! It was such a normal occurrence when I lived in NY, and now that I live on the West Coast, it so interesting that grocery stores are just grocery stores. I feel like every grocery store i attempting to meet the Wegman's standard. The environment is well decorated, the staff is well trained, the selection is on a different level. The produce section is where we zipped through and it's second only to a home garden. No cleaning of dirt required. The stores have always been clean, well maintained, and well stocked. It's just a Rochester staple. This is quite literally the Gold Standard of Grocery Stores. Wegman's is in a league of its own.”
“Clean and orderly, was only messy in aisles where seasonal products were being swapped out/put on sale. Sometimes they have their shipment carts all over the place on truck days. It's just they are busy and don't work overnight to stock. Prices are very reasonable too”

They have a deli counter that would can order cold cuts by the pound or have them make you one of their DELICIOUS SUBMARINES! They have pies you can custom order during holiday seasons. Stop in and play Quickdraw or play you favorite lottery numbers!”
