I've never had the feeling that an "up sell" was taking place such as happens at places like Mavis. The workmanship is always top notch and they stand behind their work. We have moved since we first started going to Transtek, and even though we now live about half hour away we still bring our vehicles to Bob and Transtek. That says it all.”

Not only are they the most genial people around, but they fit me in day-of to fix a clogged AC evaporator drain that had ponds forming in the footwells. The next day, they took my van back in to check out the brakes for me. Turned out to be fine, but what price peace of mind? I'll definitely drop by again next time I break down in the Queen City.”

“Andy is a rare thing indeed, an honest mechanic. I brought my minivan to him last year after going to two other shops that couldn’t figure out what the problem was and not only did he have an answer for me by the end of the day I dropped it off, but he gave me a fair price for the work needing to be done, honest about the work that needed to be done with his own recommendations and a pretty quick turnaround with everything being all said and done. When my Jeep’s transmission started acting up about a year later, I didn’t even hesitate with going to any of the other shops, I brought it straight to him. The only reason that this repair took longer was parts availability. Soon as the parts came in the shop, he had it fixed by the end of that day. I cannot recommend this shop enough. I will happily do business with him again And recommend anyone who needs transmission work to him as well. A+ service, six out of five stars.”
