What a great place and staff....they understand dogs and did a wonderful job with my 10 month old and my 12 year old pups. I recommend them highly and when I did too will use them again!!

I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my best furry girl. They are exceptional! My girl is used to lots of exercise. While she was with them, they took her for many long walks through the apple orchards surrounding their property. They kindly accommodated me calling to check on her while I was traveling (a much needed part of me feeling comfortable), and followed all directions regarding how to feed her the raw diet she’s on and the treats that I brought. As a huge cherry on the top that highlights their level of care and seriousness when taking care of your fur baby; on pick-up day, I noticed that there was an additional attachment link between her harness and collar. They took it upon themselves to add this safety link so that there was no chance of her slipping out of her harness while out on these walks. When they are taking these kinds of precautions, you know that your beloved best furry will be safe and cared for.
Their onsite groomer does a fantastic job as well!

We did a tour and booked for the summer. Facilities are clean. The staff seems friendly.. From what we see, it's a five star place for your pet. Will Update after our reservation.

The highland pet resort is a great place to leave your fur baby while away.I left my golden retriever in there care and the staff went above and beyond to make my dog comfortable and help with his separation anxiety...and while away I got stuck with a canceled flight due to a hurricane and they accommodated my dog and were willing to make space for him until I was able to return. My golden came back a happy boy and was well taken care of! I will definitely use this doggy hotel again in the future!

simply wonderful !!! Level of detail given to your pets is terrific ! Leaving our pets with HPR gives us a much needed level of complete confidence and comfort knowing our pets are in such good hands.

We have always been really happy with the care our pup receives here. She goes to doggy daycare and has so much fun she needs a nap for the rest of the evening after we pick her up. We also have boarded her here for several years and always feel she is well taken care of. The owners and staff seem to genuinely care and love the animals. I would absolutely recommend giving this business a try.

We have been bringing our sweet girl to Highland pet resort since we moved here 1.5 years ago. We love this place and had never any issues. Our dog loves this place and is always so excited to go there. They always check everything when we get there, shot records, food, snacks, supplement and then we bring a bed , toys, blanket, leash. They even ask if she already ate. They always let me know when her next shot is due. Chris and his wife are always on top of everything, I can't say any other way. Also the girls what walk the dogs, I am assuming volunteers they always so so nice and love the animal. Top place I would definitely recommend!!

The best place EVER to board your animals! The owners and staff are enthusiastic, patient, and care for the animals they care for as a temporary "getaway" for your pet and owners. Clean, efficient, safe, knowledgeable, and courteous.

Highland Pet Resort is the best kennel in the area. Our dogs LOVE going there and come home well taken care of, well loved and happy. Chris and the staff are courteous, flexible and helpful. One of our boys had mobility issues for a while a few years ago and they continue to check in when he’s there, take care to have him avoid stairs and let us know if anything happens. Our other gets anxious when away from us and is finicky when eating, so they literally feed him from their hand, one handful at a time. Can’t say enough good things about them, highly recommend!
