After dealing with another Animal Hospital and a bad experience i can truly say I felt that my dogs care was in the best of hands . Not only did I feel appreciated. They spoke to me actually like a human versus just a $ign and the Veterinarian never left my side and even assisted to my car. I’m truly happy such a positive clean welcoming animal center exists and will be back!

Dr. Krouse and her team saw my boxer Annabelle today after calling in to inquire about their urgent care offering. The team was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I walked in we were immediately welcomed and checked in. Everyone took the time to listen to our concerns and came up with a detailed care plan. I appreciate everyone’s engaging and positive demeanor on the holiday weekend. Thank you!

Taking your animal to a vet is stressful enough, add on an injury and it’s 10x worse. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The initial staff was so kind and welcoming. Dr Krouse and her husband Noah were so patient with my very stressed out, injured dog. Dr Krouse had great recommendations on options I had and supplements and doesn't try to push unnecessary things on you to rack up your bill. They even helped me get my dog back into the car. The name is fitting, a very compassionate veterinary office!

An exceptional vet experience! We have an extremely active, 10 year old working dog who came up with a bad limp 2 days before we brought him to Compassion...on a holiday weekend. Dr. Krouse and her outstanding tech spent at least 15 minutes thoroughly examining all our our dog's legs for comparison, shaved his toe hair and realized it was most likely a small puncture wound. Due to their thorough exam, we avoided an x-ray and were 100% put at ease.
Overall, Compassion's hours are impressive, the entire office is welcoming, bright and clean and the staff is friendly and professional.
We will be bringing our beloved pooch to see Dr. Krouse from Beacon in the future.
Many thanks Compassion!

Took my dog here on Saturday as she was unable to stand up. Thank God I found this place after a horrendous experience the night before at Guardian Veterinary Specialists in Brewster. The experience was night and day. From the receptionist to the vet tech to Dr. Krouse, they were all very caring. Dr. Krouse took her time to listen to us and never made us feel rushed or that we were just a number she had to get in and out the door. Definitely considering switching to make them our primary vet!

From the initial call for an appointment thru the entire process, all staff went above and beyond to make the experience positive. They all showed genuine care and love for the baby. Chelsea was so kind and loving with the baby as she took care of his needs. Dr Krouse was gentle as she checked him out. I could see that she actually felt bad for what he was dealing with. She addressed the issue and kept me informed throughout the 2 hr visit. She and the team also kept me updated on the estimated cost so I wasn’t surprised and could decide what I wanted to be done. I felt totally confident that he would be well taken care of and he was. Thank you all for the most + experience at any vet office ever. I will come back if my animals ever need care and keep telling my friends about your beautiful facility and staff.

I am so thankful for the amazing team at Compassion ! All of the staff were helpful and concerned for my dog. She was in great hands. I brought my dog in to urgent care when no one else was open over the weekend last month and they were able to see us, give a diagnosis, medications, and follow ups appointments all within an hour. By the time we were home my dog was doing better and has had a great recovery 6 weeks later. Thank you so much compassion team !!

I brought my dog here on no notice after she became very ill. They took her right in and started checking her and running tests. Unfortunately she was in irreversible liver failure and I had to put her down. They treated me and my pup with the greatest dignity and respect. This was one of the hardest things I ever had to do and everyone there went above and beyond to make it as bearable as humanly possible. What stuck out was they saw the hurt in my eyes and I could see everyone there felt it too. Saying goodbye to my fur baby was hard and I'm so happy it was in a warm hearted environment where no one felt alone. I'm truly thankful to them for the comfort and genuine caring through it all. I would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone.

They charged me for two x-rays, I noticed when I looked over the estimate they gave me and compared it to my receipt. They told me I couldn’t get a refund until Monday(it was a friday) and I’d only get credit on my account rather than back on my debit card. Thankfully, they ended up giving me my money back on Monday. The dr was great. I was told I had to take my cat to a specialist an hour away for my cat to get an endoscopy and they were going to send over the paperwork/X-rays to that vet. I got there and they didn’t send over anything, so the specialist called them and got half of the paperwork, not including the xray. The specialist called this vet back to get the X-rays and they suddenly closed (even though it said they were open until 10pm) causing me to pay another $400 for an xray at the specialist vet.

Dr. Krouse checked my new adopted dog thoroughly at the last minute. She showed me my dog had a foot infection and gave me medication for it. Being the type of dog I have she checked his spine and legs very slowly. I felt bad to use an emergency visit but it was worth it to me and I'm glad she found the infection. Thank you Compassion Vet for fitting us in.

I have a Boxer and she is for the most part very healthy. I walked her as I do every morning and by midday she suddenly had bumps all over her body. I know she likes to roll on grass as she does every time we walk. Well once we were home and an hour or two later she had bumps all over her body. It looked like hives. My friend told me to take her here at Compassion V Ctr. We had 2 hours before closing time. We got her there quickly and the doctor agreed that she must’ve rolled around on something that gave her allergies. They gave her a shot and we brought her home to sleep. We saw how the bumps began to go away. I must say on my first visit there I am impressed with the way they took care of my Xena. Love the doctor and how sweet she is with her patients. So very happy with their kind and loving service. ❤️
