At first our music was too loud so they asked us to turn it down and we did. We were also polite about it. At check out the women told us we weren’t aloud back at the hotel because there were complaints of us being loud outside. Even though, we weren’t the only people who were outside and not once did they come up to see what the complaints were about.

I was worried about choosing this location based upon the reviews but I knew the area well so I was hopeful and I'm glad I chose it. I found the room to be updated and very clean. There were plenty of pillows and even a fridge in the room. We never saw any breakfast in the office but we are early risers and checked between 7:45-8. The motel is right in town so we were able to find a few places to eat and there is a Walgreens right down the road. We also found the motel to be very quiet. I would definitely stay there again

***PICTURES ARE NOT ACTUALLY WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE***For one there are no accommodations eg: breakfast, microwave in room, no extra pillows, no phone. The room was not clean what do ever. There was a limited amount of t.v. channels and what I was able to get most of them were news, weather, and sports channels. The wifi was in and out. To use the microwave you had to leave your room and go to the other building to share it with the whole motel. The second night I was there I was ready to go to sleep (1:a.m) and all the sudden the fire alarm went off in my room went outside to wait for fire trucks. When the hotel owner got here he accused me of smoking in the room. He was very rude (mother in law used to work here and she said the fire alarms go off all the time for no reason. The pictures that are posted are not what the rooms look like.

Bottom line: This motel was convenient, comfortable, and affordable.Do not stay at this motel with the expectation that you might have for a large hotel chain. That being said, my experience here was a good one. The room was comfortable. I stayed in a room with two queen sized beds. The bed linens were clean and there were four pillows for each bed. The room contained a small desk, a bureau, a nightstand, a small refrigerator, and an armchair.The bathroom was divided into two distinct sections. The toilet and shower were enclosed for privacy while the sink was located in an open are at one end of the room. The bathroom was recently renovated, and the towels were clean and plentiful. Soap and shampoo were provided.The room included a decent-sized tv with a limited number of channels. Wi-Fi was also provided. The Wi-Fi was rather weak throughout the majority of the room. These were the biggest disappointments from my stay, but since my time in the room was limited to mostly sleeping, I am not really complaining.The motel is convenient to the town of Highland Falls and to the United States Military Academy at West Point. A small continental breakfast was offered, but I did not take advantage of it. There is also a centrally located room that contains an icemaker and a microwave.I will definitely consider staying here in the future. It was money well spent!

I stayed at the West Point Motel for one night while my daughter toured West Point Military Academy and this motel was reasonably priced and had a great location in relation to West Point Military Academy. I was a little surprised that the breakfast started at 9 am, a little late for most people. So I could not tell you what it was like, but the rooms were clean and everything worked. For the money a great deal.Rooms: Clean

I was very pleased with the cleanliness of our room. I was a bit nervous staying here due to the fact that it's a motel in the middle of nowhere (sorry, Highland Falls!), but I am glad I stayed here and would gladly do so again. My one qualm was that the wifi was very slow. Please consider upgrading it as it seems that this is a common suggestion.

I had mixed feelings about staying at this place. Stayed here for my boyfriend's 100th night event because it was located close by. Price was great and I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms and service! While it is not the Thayer Hotel, it is a cozy, clean, and quiet place. Nice rooms, clean rooms, great and friendly service.

This place booked the wrong date for my stay, refused to change the date, and then refused to provide a refund. All this while being incredibly rude throughout the process.

This is a very nice little family-run "old-school" motel. The rooms are clean and the service is very good. While there has been a pretty extensive facelift & room renovation, it still retains that old roadside-motel charm that is mostly lost today. Some of the small details of yesteryear are still in place if you look closely - ie bottle openers attached to the counter and hangers that cannot be removed - not to mention front windows that actually open. There are chairs in front of every unit that make for a nice "porch-sitting" community in the evenings - especially on West Point game weekends. Noise was very minimal and overall it's a very pleasant & relaxing experience staying here.

The room I am in is clean, but really outdated. The internet is REEEEAL slow 5.3mb down, 3.4 mb up. I tested it at night and really early in the morning. The holiday inn express is only about 2 miles from here, all rooms are nicer, free hot breakfast, and fast internet. I will not be staying here again. Front desk is not manned in the evenings, no one even answers the phone.

The first thing that jumped out was that the beds are saggy and it looked like somebody had been laying on them before we got here. The nightstand lamp was so dusty I had to clean it myself or I'd be sneezing all night. The shower bar is rusty and the tub looks like it needs to be scrubbed with Ajax. There is a fridge but no microwave.

Very pleasant experience staying this hotel when we are visiting Cold Spring. Room is very spacious and clean and you can barely hear the noise from the air conditioner, which is a plus compared to the motels, or even some hotels, I have stayed so far. And making it more ideal to place to stay is that the motel is just half an hour drive to Cold Spring and Woodbury Outlets.

I booked a weekend stay for a September 2022 football game and 5 days later cancelled the same reservation due to a family schedule conflict. The hotel charged me $25 to cancel of the $230 fee. The reservation was over 6 months out and they failed to refund our full payment. I've been in the hospitality business for 20+ years - cannot believe this policy works in their best interest.
