This tiny, family-run restaurant is the kind of place you'd expect to find nestled in a cozy corner of Manhattan – authentic, delicious food in a delightful atmosphere. I love eating a boiling hot bowl of ramen here on a cold New York winter night. The prices are good, and the service is great. A wide selection of beverages are available from a large glass-front refrigerator. The restaurant is not wheelchair accessible as there are a few steps up to enter, and the toilets also require steps.

The food is really good, but the service is amazing. The owners are so kind and friendly and they actually care about their customers. They're out here caring for a community and it shows.

I was very disappointed by the way I was treated at this place. The owners treated me so rude. I was so upset I paid and left my food. i was profiled as soon as I walked through the door. I was not from the area and was visiting West Point. They treated me like I didn't belong and I was so shocked knowing they get all different types of cultures who visit. I will never go to this place again and I will never recommend for anyone else.

A total surprise for me, a hidden gem of Asian food. I’ve only been twice because it’s far but I would come every day. Sushi rolls are my favorite food and I’ve tried them all over the place and Sushi King has the best ones ever. It’s more fish than rice and it looks and tastes amazing. Cozy atmosphere and fantastic owners.

Definitely a small cozy sushi place that makes feel at home when I was there at least, love the vibe, very mom and pop. Very patient service since my friend with me took forever to order and asked questions and surprisingly so polite and answered anything straight forward with respect. Plus I do appreciate they make sure they have order right a few times by asking. Always nice to have such detail. Now the food, miso soup was alright I mean glad it was scolding hot. The spicy Korean ramen , despite some may being just instant ramen with extra steps was good, plenty of noodles and I love the bits of egg and green onion. I noticed it's the most popular dish here considering all the other tables I noticed had it as well. Also the ramen was right spicy , not overkill and it's a mouth inferno. The West Point rolls, let me tell the rolls here are pretty damn big, I mean mine was stuffed, definitely not cheap on fish for sure. The taste was great, but man trying to eat massive roll with chopsticks and it not breaking apart was pretty funny. Overall a nice mom and pop sushi place I rarely see. This being second place I know of like that.

I absolutely LOVE sushi and was beginning to feel guilty for not supporting this local sushi restaurant bc I usually order from a place in Monroe, so I decided to give it a try..... bad mistake. #1- I ordered my typical sushi combo and it was MUCH more expensive than other places I have ordered. At fist I thought- don't judge before you have it bc maybe it is worth the difference in price.... 2)- WORST sushi I have ever had. The rice was very undercooked- it was crunchy. The seaweed was so thick that I couldn't chew through it. I will say that thankfully the fish itself seemed fresh. I rarely ever leave bad reviews especially with businesses in our town struggling so badly but this was a huge disappointment and the price made it worse. :(

We flew into Newark airport, headed to Great Barrington, MA. We didn’t know what we felt like eating and walked into Sushi King. We ordered sushi rolls and they were the best we’ve ever had. We live in San Diego where fresh fish for sushi is easy to get. The rolls were thick with fresh fish and the optimum amount of rice. Delicious and good value.

Can’t ask more. Came from city and did a half day hiking at the storm king trails. Quick google search and this restaurant jumps out as the first. We give it a try since it is 15 mins drive away. The lady there is super nice. It is a small restaurant but things and food there you can feel the heart they put inside this business. You will be surprised by the volume of the food they serve to you.Nothing more, just click the direction and go there if you are like me.

Wow, absolutely amazing. Before I get into the specifics, definitely pay this place a visit. As a Korean, and as an avid Asian food lover, this place is ranked best in my books for Korean cuisine. The owners are this cute husband and wife duo. They speak Korean, the wife speaks English but the husband does not fluently so please be patient!!!The good: everything honestly. We got the fried mandu and chicken combo, soondoobu jjigae, Bulgogi, and spicy pork dishes. The portions are humongous so definitely family style it up and share amongst your table.Miso soup is served for free and has this unique umami flavor I haven’t tasted before in a miso. The mandu and chicken were fried perfectly, and didn’t leave you feeling heavy afterwardsThe soondoobu jjigae had tons of tofu (as in the name), and the gochujang flavor was perfect. Served boiling at the tableThe Bulgogi was your basic meat but nonetheless this dish always hitsThe spicy pork was the best. Super spicy and flavorful. I could not stop eating it. For those sensitive to spice, I wouldn’t get this dish but for those who do, I stuffed myself full! The bad: I can’t say anything was not good. We did have to ask for water as it wasn’t brought to the table until then, and this place does not have a bathroom. But what are you coming here to do? Eat! So who cares this place is amazingOverall: you have to try this place. Even tho we live mostly in Albany I will 100% be back soon just for this place alone. The best Korean restaurant I’ve been to out of the ones in upstate. This place competes well out of the ones in NYC too since that’s where we live part-time.
